Brookhaven is a free, open-ended roleplay experience on Roblox. It gives players a town to live in, explore and use as a setting for stories they invent together: claim a home, choose a job, drive around, visit places such as the school or hospital, and meet other players. There is no single required campaign or victory condition; the players create much of the action.
What do you do in Brookhaven?
Brookhaven is a roleplay sandbox rather than a level-based game with a fixed story. Its town includes homes, shops, a school, a hospital, vehicles, jobs and places to gather. The game gives players tools and settings; they decide how to use them.
For example, a group might act out a family moving into a house, play through a day at school or work, or explore the town while inventing a mystery. These are player-created scenarios, not scripted modes that every server follows. The official Brookhaven site describes it as “A place to play with like minded people and roleplay.” View Brookhaven on Roblox.
How do you get started?
The basic first steps are to choose a place to live, get a vehicle and pick a role. From there, players can customize an avatar, use props and animations, add a character bio, and explore locations around town.

How do Brookhaven private servers work?
A private server is an optional way to play with invited friends instead of sharing a public server with other players. Brookhaven’s guide described private servers as costing 100 Robux per month as of September 2026; Roblox says creators set private-server prices and subscriptions recur monthly. Check the current price and renewal date on Roblox before subscribing, because both can change.
Brookhaven’s guide says private-server controls can include prop saving, server-wide music and announcements, player administration, weather and time settings, and higher prop limits. To find the option, open the Brookhaven experience page on Roblox and go to its Servers area. Roblox Support explains subscription and access details in its private-server help article.

Do not use social-media posts or third-party sites claiming to offer free private servers if they ask for account details. Keep password entry and purchases on official Roblox pages.

Brookhaven runs on Roblox, so chat, privacy, accounts and moderation are governed by Roblox’s platform systems as well as the experience’s features. The publisher labels Brookhaven “Minimal,” Roblox’s lowest of four content labels, and notes that roleplay can include emergencies. That label is not a guarantee about every interaction with other players and does not replace parental controls.

- Chat: The publisher says chat is filtered and requires the applicable Roblox age check.
- Reporting and blocking: Players can report or block others from within the experience. For an in-game issue, use the Roblox menu to report while still in the server. Reports go to Roblox moderation; Brookhaven’s team says it may also remove players from its experience.
- Parent controls: Parents can review Roblox sharing and account settings through parental controls. Roblox Support says users under 13 can join friends’ private servers by default, while privacy settings may restrict access further. See Roblox’s current private server access guidance.
Roblox policies and settings can change. Parents should check the account’s current controls and consider whether public chat and contact with other players are appropriate for their child.
How to avoid Brookhaven account scams
Avoid unofficial scripts or offers promising hacks, free items or unlocked passes. Brookhaven’s publisher warns that these can expose accounts to theft or lead to a ban. If someone installed a suspicious program, the publisher recommends removing it, scanning the device with antivirus software, changing the Roblox password, enabling two-step verification and reviewing signed-in devices. Roblox also describes malware and phishing risks in its safety guidance.
What is current in Brookhaven?
Brookhaven changes over time. On October 8, 2026, the official site’s update feed listed an October 2 “Military Update” and a September 26 update continuing the Jurassic World event; the Roblox listing’s latest-update text also mentioned a Military Base House and a free Villa House. These are a dated snapshot, not a promise that the same events or homes remain available. Check the live experience page for current content.
The Brookhaven/Voldex FAQ says the experience opened in 2020 and has over 140 million players every month. This is a publisher-reported figure; the reviewed FAQ does not provide a measurement date, methodology or definition of “players,” so it should not be read as an independently audited count.
