An ANY.RUN sandbox task dated November 13, 2024 reported “Malicious activity” in a sandbox containing a FolderMarkerPro.exe process identified as ArcticLine Software. The report also says its information may be distorted by user actions and that ANY.RUN does not guarantee maliciousness or safety. That evidence warrants examining the particular sample; it does not establish that every official Folder Marker release is malware.
How to reach a practical safety decision

Why does Windows SmartScreen block FolderMarkerPro.exe?

5. Compare a fresh download
