This is commonly described in application-crash reports as an access-violation-style exception: the process attempted an operation Windows did not permit. 2. Run a full Microsoft Defender scan
Use Microsoft Defender Antivirus to perform a full scan rather than relying only on a quick check. Leave the game executable in place while the scan runs so Defender can examine the actual file and its surrounding installation. Repair is the least disruptive option when it is offered. If repair does not help, uninstall the game through the official storefront, restart Windows, and reinstall it from that same official source. A Gridinsoft report analyzed one 108,544-byte sample described as associated with Online-Fix.Me. That report recorded a 0% detection rate on March 6, 2025, and said no valid SignedData structure was found. Those figures describe that particular sample at that time; they are not a safety certification, and they say nothing about the official game executable.
