Repair or reset the associated app
- Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
- Find the application that launched or references

Read the deployment event
- Press the Windows key, type Event Viewer, and open it.
- Expand Applications and Services Logs, then Microsoft, Windows, and AppxDeployment-Server.
- Select Operational and look at events created at the same time as the failed installation.
- Record the event’s error code and wording before changing the installation. Match the code to Microsoft’s documented deployment guidance.
