injustice.exe is normally the Windows game executable for Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition when it is inside that game’s Steam folder. Check the installation path
- Open Steam and choose Library.
- Right-click Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, choose Manage, and select Browse local files (wording can vary slightly by Steam Client release).

3. Investigate a quarantine or block
If verification reports a missing executable, open Windows Security’s Protection history and look for an action involving the game’s folder. A quarantine entry explains why Steam can no longer launch the file, but it does not prove that every quarantined copy is safe.
- If the quarantined item is in the expected Steam path and its signature and hash match the trusted reference, you can review the restore option and then add no broader exception than necessary.

6. Reinstall from Steam
