Why does it keep appearing?
Info Service is designed to start automatically on systems where the Lexware product uses it. That can make the process appear after Windows starts, when a Lexware application opens, or when the update service checks for new information. Repeated activity is not, by itself, evidence of malware; it can simply mean that the service is trying and failing to reach its update server.

What network access does lxwebaccess.exe need?
For a direct Internet connection, Lexware documents outbound HTTP on port 80 and HTTPS on port 443. Organizations that use a proxy may route the traffic through port 8080 or 3128 instead. The correct choice depends on the network’s proxy configuration; do not open every port just to make the error disappear.

- Open Windows Security from the Start menu.
- Choose Firewall & network protection, then select Allow an app through firewall.
