oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe cannot be confirmed as an official Intel file from its name alone. “IGCC” resembles Intel Graphics Command Center, but Intel’s published support material identifies a different startup component, IGCCTray.exe, and does not document this exact executable. Treat the file as unverified until you inspect its location, publisher signature and behavior. If your problem is an Intel Graphics Command Center launch failure, use Windows’ Repair and Reset options, reinstall the app from Microsoft Store, and update the Intel graphics driver. Those software steps address the documented failure modes; buying replacement hardware is not necessary based on the available evidence.
What is oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe?
The exact identity of oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe is unresolved. Intel’s official documentation describes Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC), a Windows application for display resolution, refresh rate, video settings and related graphics controls, but it does not list this filename. The similar-looking name is therefore only a clue, not proof that the executable belongs to Intel.

Do not silently substitute IGCCTray.exe for the filename in an error message. Intel has a separate support article for an “IGCCTray.exe not found” startup error. That article does not identify oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe, so fixes for the tray component should be treated as related troubleshooting rather than confirmation of a shared file.
What the name does and does not tell you
- “IGCC” may refer to Intel Graphics Command Center.
- “oneapp” and “sdkcommandline” do not establish a vendor, version or purpose.
- The filename alone reveals no trustworthy path, signer, hash or runtime behavior.
- A legitimate Windows component can be copied or renamed, and a malicious file can use a convincing name.
Because Intel has not published the exact filename in the material available for this topic, the correct answer is “unverified,” not “safe” or “malware.”

Is oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe safe?
You can assess the file, but you cannot determine safety from the spelling alone. Check its digital signature, actual location and whether the event that mentions it coincides with Intel Graphics Command Center being installed. A valid Intel signature is useful evidence of publisher identity; it is not a guarantee that every execution context is harmless.
Check the file properties and signer
- When Windows shows the error, choose an option such as Open file location if it is offered. Otherwise, use Task Manager or your startup entry to locate the executable without running it.
- Right-click the file, select Properties, and open the Digital Signatures tab. Look for a valid signature whose signer is Intel Corporation or an Intel-named publisher.
- Select the signature, choose Details, and confirm that Windows reports the signature as valid. Check the signing time and certificate chain rather than relying on the filename.
- On the General and Details tabs, note the full path, file description, product name and version. An unexpected user-download, temporary or randomly named folder warrants more investigation.
These checks verify what is currently on your computer; they do not prove that this particular name is an Intel component. If there is no signature, the signature is invalid, or the publisher is unrelated to Intel, do not launch the file simply to see what happens.

Scan without downloading a replacement
Use Windows Security to scan the file and its containing folder: open Windows Security, select Virus & threat protection, choose Scan options, then run a Custom scan on the location. Keep Windows and your security definitions current. Do not download a replacement executable from a “DLL fix” or file-download site; an unverified copy can introduce a second problem.
When to stop and investigate
- The file has no valid signature or the signer is not Intel.
- It runs from a path unrelated to installed graphics software and appears after a recent untrusted download.
- It repeatedly recreates itself after deletion, creates unknown scheduled tasks or causes unexplained network activity.
- Windows Security reports a threat or blocks the file.
In those cases, preserve the path and file details, disconnect from sensitive accounts if necessary, and follow your organization’s incident-response process or obtain help from a qualified technician. Do not weaken security controls to make the executable run.
What does Intel Graphics Command Center do?
Intel Graphics Command Center is Intel’s settings interface for compatible integrated graphics. Intel describes controls for display resolution, refresh rate, video settings and related configuration. It is distributed through Microsoft Store rather than as a standalone executable downloaded from arbitrary websites.
Intel’s stated baseline requirements include the following. Requirements can change, so check the current Intel support page for your specific model and Windows release.

| Requirement | Intel’s stated baseline | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 version 1709 or later; Windows 11 version 21H2 or later | Windows labels and support status vary by release. |
| Processor | Intel 6th-generation or newer generally | Intel’s Windows 11 guidance calls for an 8th-generation-or-newer Intel processor. |
| Graphics driver | Version 25.20.100.6618 or newer | The installed driver must support the application. |
| Connectivity | Internet connection | Microsoft Store access may be restricted on managed systems. |
Windows 10 LTSC installations may have difficulty installing Store apps when Store access is limited. On an enterprise or LTSC device, use the organization’s managed deployment process and Intel’s documented guidance instead of unofficial Store workarounds.
How do I fix oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe errors on Windows?
Start by recording the exact message and verifying whether Intel Graphics Command Center is installed. Then work through the least destructive app repair steps before reinstalling or changing drivers.
1. Confirm the Windows and hardware prerequisites
- Press Windows + R, type
winver, and press Enter to note the Windows version and build. - Open Settings > System > About and record the processor model.
- Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right-click the Intel adapter and choose Properties > Driver to record the provider, date and version.
- Compare those details with Intel’s current Graphics Command Center requirements. If the system is below the stated OS, processor or driver baseline, update the supported software first or accept that the app may not install.
Do not infer compatibility from the executable name. A system can contain an Intel graphics adapter while still lacking a supported driver or Store-app environment.
2. Repair the installed app
- Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps. On some Windows releases this is labeled Apps & features.
- Search for Intel Graphics Command Center.
- Select the three-dot menu beside it, choose Advanced options, and select Repair.
- Restart Windows and test the graphics-control shortcut or the action that produced the error.
Repair replaces damaged app data where possible without removing your installed package or intentionally resetting all settings. Menu names can differ slightly between Windows releases.

- Return to the Intel Graphics Command Center entry under Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Advanced options.
- Select Reset and confirm the warning.
- Restart Windows, then open the app again.
Reset restores the app’s local data and defaults. Record any custom display settings first so you can reapply them if needed. Resetting the app does not establish that oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe is legitimate; it only addresses a damaged or misregistered Store package.
4. Reinstall Graphics Command Center from Microsoft Store
- In Settings > Apps > Installed apps, select Intel Graphics Command Center and choose Uninstall.
- Restart Windows after the uninstall completes.
- Open Microsoft Store, search for Intel Graphics Command Center, verify the publisher shown by Store, and install the app.
- Restart once more and test it.
If the app is not available, Store access may be blocked, the device may not meet requirements, or the system may be managed by an organization. Do not use unofficial packages or modified installers to bypass those controls.

5. Install the latest compatible Intel graphics driver
Intel’s related launch guidance also advises installing the latest Intel graphics driver. Use the computer manufacturer’s supported driver channel when the PC maker customizes graphics packages; otherwise, use Intel’s official driver distribution. Before changing a working driver, create a restore point or confirm that you have a rollback option in Device Manager > Display adapters > Properties > Driver.
- Download the driver that matches the exact processor or graphics adapter and Windows edition.
- Close graphics-intensive applications and run the vendor installer.
- Restart Windows even if the installer does not require it.
- Recheck the driver version in Device Manager and test Graphics Command Center.
A driver update addresses the graphics software layer; it does not validate an unknown executable or guarantee that every startup error will disappear.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
6. Handle the related IGCCTray.exe startup message separately
If the message specifically says Windows cannot find IGCCTray.exe, follow Intel’s documented remedy: uninstall and reinstall Intel Graphics Command Center or Intel Graphics Control Panel. If neither application appears in the installed-app list, Intel advises installing Graphics Command Center and restarting. This branch applies to the tray filename only; it is not evidence that the distinct oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe file is the same component.
7. Remove a stale startup entry only after verification
If the error appears at every logon after the app has been removed, a stale startup reference may remain. Open Task Manager > Startup apps and inspect entries that clearly point to Intel Graphics Command Center. Disable an entry only when you have confirmed its path and publisher; do not disable random entries merely because their names contain “IGCC.” Restart and check whether the message returns.
8. Use System File Checker only for broader Windows symptoms
If several unrelated Windows components are failing, run an elevated Command Prompt and enter sfc /scannow. This checks protected Windows system files, not the identity of a third-party executable. If Windows reports corruption it cannot repair, use your organization’s approved servicing procedure or Microsoft’s current repair guidance before making further changes.
Which fix should I try first?
Choose the least disruptive action that matches the symptom. The table separates app-data repairs from package replacement and driver work.

| Driver is old, corrupt or incompatible | Install the latest compatible Intel graphics driver | Replaces the graphics driver layer | Rollback may be available in Device Manager; create a restore point first. |
| Windows specifically reports IGCCTray.exe not found | Follow Intel’s uninstall/reinstall guidance for Graphics Command Center or Graphics Control Panel | Repairs the documented tray-component installation | Do not apply this filename assumption to oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe. |
What if the error remains after reinstalling?
Capture the exact dialog text, the executable’s full path, its signature result, Windows version, graphics adapter and driver version. Check whether the error appears only at startup, only when opening Graphics Command Center, or during a game. Those distinctions separate a stale startup reference from an app-package or driver problem.
- If the file is unsigned or in an unexpected location, leave it disabled or quarantined according to Windows Security’s instructions and seek further analysis.
- If the file is signed by Intel but the app still fails, verify that the Store package and driver match the same Windows installation and hardware.
- If the PC is managed, contact the administrator before uninstalling Store apps or changing drivers.
- If only one game or graphics workload fails, investigate that program’s requirements separately; an IGCC-style filename does not prove it caused the crash.
Do not delete files from the Windows or driver folders at random. Removing a legitimate component can create additional startup errors and make rollback harder.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Does Intel Graphics Command Center collect personal information?
Intel’s FAQ states: “The Intel Graphics Command Center does not collect personal information on a user or system.” Intel further says that collection is limited to anonymous button-click counts used to improve the user experience and decide where to add features. That is Intel’s description of the app; it is not a forensic finding about the unverified oneapp.igcc.sdkcommandline.exe executable.
For a file whose signer and origin are unresolved, rely on the local signature, path and security scan rather than transferring the app’s stated privacy description to the file automatically.
Do I need to buy hardware to resolve this error?
No. The documented remedies are software maintenance: verify the installation, repair or reset the app, reinstall it through Microsoft Store, and update the Intel graphics driver. Replace a graphics adapter or other component only after a separate hardware diagnosis demonstrates a physical fault; this filename alone is not evidence of one.
If you prefer an optional shortcut after trying the manual checks, Outbyte PC Repair can look for common Windows problems, clean temporary and cache files, review settings and show an app-crash log. It runs on Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7 and offers a free trial by category for at least two days before a subscription; results vary, it does not repair every crash, and it complements rather than replaces antivirus protection.
Frequently asked questions

Do not delete it until you have recorded its path and checked its signature. Deleting an unverified file may remove a suspicious component, but deleting a legitimate graphics package can produce new startup errors; quarantine or disable it through Windows Security or your organization’s process when appropriate.

Why does the filename appear after a Windows update?
An update can replace a driver, re-register a Store app or leave an outdated startup reference. Check the installed-app list, startup entries and driver version rather than assuming the update created malware.
Can I install Intel Graphics Command Center without Microsoft Store?
Intel distributes the app through Microsoft Store. Systems such as Windows 10 LTSC may restrict Store access, so administrators should use managed deployment and Intel’s documented enterprise guidance instead of unofficial installers.
What information should I give support?
Provide the exact error text, Windows version and build, processor and graphics adapter models, driver version, full executable path, digital-signature result and the time the error appears. Include whether Repair, Reset, reinstall and a driver update changed the behavior.
Is a valid Intel signature enough to prove the file is safe?
No. A valid signature supports publisher authenticity but does not explain why the file has an undocumented name or appears in an unusual location. Combine the signature with path, installation context, Windows Security results and observed behavior.
