PlayStation’s official terms list the telephone number 800-345-7669. In North America you dial it as 1-800-345-7669, which is the “1 800” number people usually mean. PlayStation’s own guidance, though, is to start at its support website and pick your issue first, because the right contact method depends on what you need help with.
The number and where it is published
The number 800-345-7669 appears in PlayStation’s terms of service for Canada, which was last revised in April 2026. The U.S. terms page lists the same number, but its stated revision date is October 2022, so it is older and should be read as a less current source. Both pages identify Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC as the contracting party.

The Canada terms also say that the best way to contact PlayStation is through its support website at www.playstation.com/support. That sentence matters because it positions the phone number as one route among several rather than the default.

PlayStation’s support contact guide routes people by issue rather than sending every question to one phone line. To use it:

- Search or browse for the issue you have, such as an account problem, a purchase, a hardware fault, or a game problem.
- Read the help article for that issue first. Many common problems are resolved there without contacting anyone.
- If the article does not solve the problem, follow the contact method the guide lists for that specific issue. It may be a web form, a chat or ticket route, or the phone number, depending on the topic.
Which issues the support guide sends to different routes
The support contact guide groups help by topic. The topics it covers include:
- Account and security: recovery and security topics are covered on the support pages. Certain two-step verification problems require contacting PlayStation Support directly rather than self-serving through the help articles.
- Store and refunds: purchase, billing, and refund questions have their own contact path.
- Subscriptions: PlayStation Plus and similar subscription questions are handled under their own topic.
- Games: problems with specific titles, downloads, or installs.
- Hardware and repair: console faults and repair requests.
- Connectivity: network and online connection problems.
- Manuals: product documentation.
Because the route changes with the topic, calling the 800 number first is not always the fastest option. Check the issue page before dialing.

What the official sources do not establish
The terms pages and support guide give the number and the routing approach, but they do not state the following, so do not assume them:

- Current phone hours or days of operation.
- Typical wait times or response speed.
- That every support issue can be handled by phone.
If you need the hours or the current status of the line, check the support site directly, since those details are not published in the terms.
