Innosilicon’s Fenghua No. 2 is a low-power discrete graphics card aimed at desktop and industrial systems, not a proven modern gaming competitor. The company lists DirectX 11 support and 4–15 W card power; a 2022 event demonstration reported by HotHardware showed Windows 11 running Unigine Heaven in DirectX 11 mode. Neither establishes broad game compatibility or comparative performance.
What is the Fenghua No. 2?
Fenghua No. 2 is a discrete desktop and embedded GPU from Chinese chip designer Innosilicon. The company positions it as a 4K multi-display card for office desktops and industrial uses. Its published specifications describe hardware with modest power requirements and several display and video features, but those specifications are vendor claims, not independent benchmark results.

Innosilicon’s product page lists a 48 GPixel/s pixel fill rate, 1.5 TFLOPS of FP32 compute, PCIe 3.0 x8, and 2 GB, 4 GB, or 8 GB memory configurations. Memory options are LPDDR4, LPDDR4X, LPDDR5, or LPDDR5X, with a listed maximum frequency of 8.533 Gbps and bandwidth of up to 68.264 GB/s. Board and memory variants may differ; the figures should not be read as proof that every configuration is available in every system.
Does it support DirectX 11, and can it run games?
Innosilicon lists DirectX 11 among the supported graphics APIs, alongside OpenGL 4.3, OpenGL ES 3.2, and Vulkan 1.2. The company also lists OpenCL 3.0 for compute.

HotHardware reported that Innosilicon demonstrated Windows 11 running Unigine Heaven in DirectX 11 mode at a live presentation in early August 2022, as well as OpenGL demonstrations. That is evidence that the demonstrated workload ran on stage; it is not a broad compatibility test. It does not establish support for specific commercial games, driver quality across releases, sustained performance, or frame rates relative to current Intel, AMD, or Nvidia GPUs. HotHardware’s report also noted gaps in the specifications available at launch and did not constitute a hands-on review: HotHardware’s 2022 report.
There is a separate, narrower software-compatibility signal from UnionTech. In a notice dated July 6, 2023, the company said Fenghua No. 2 completed UOS hardware compatibility adaptation and reported tests covering office, entertainment, games, CAD, and GIS on UOS. UnionTech said the product entered production-stage deployment after meeting its certification requirements. This is partner-reported evidence for that operating-system context, not a substitute for independent testing across games and platforms: UnionTech’s UOS compatibility notice.

How much power does the card use?
Innosilicon’s current product page lists GPU/card power of 4–15 W, describes low-power and high-performance modes, and advertises fanless operation. The company’s Chinese wording calls this “measured power consumption,” but the page does not specify a measurement protocol or workload. Treat 4–15 W as the vendor’s published figure rather than an independently reproduced result.
UnionTech’s 2023 notice separately describes typical whole-card power as approximately 3–15 W. The two ranges come from different sources and are not necessarily measured under the same conditions, so they should not be merged into a single verified power specification.

What displays and video features are listed?
Innosilicon lists two HDMI 2.0 outputs, one DP/eDP 1.4 output, and VGA, with support for dual 4K displays at 60 Hz and four independent displays. It also lists H.264 and H.265 decoding, including real-time 4K decoding. These are product-page capabilities; check the specific board or OEM system to confirm which physical connectors it includes and which display combinations it supports.
Where has it been deployed, and can consumers buy one?
There is evidence of OEM and industrial deployment, but not of ordinary consumer retail availability. In an August 8, 2023 announcement, Innosilicon said Fenghua GPUs had been integrated into desktop and industrial computer solutions from Zhaoyi Hengtong and that the companies had obtained bulk project orders. The release describes applications such as office desktops, laptops, and industrial PCs; it does not establish current stock, a retail price, or units available to individual buyers: Innosilicon’s 2023 announcement.

UnionTech’s July 2023 notice also said the UOS-compatible product had entered production-stage deployment. Together, these company and partner statements support describing Fenghua No. 2 as a product intended for OEM and industrial systems. They do not verify that a consumer card is currently sold through retail channels.

What the available evidence does—and does not—show
- Established: Innosilicon lists DirectX 11, low-power operation, multi-display support, and the specifications above; HotHardware reported a Windows 11/Unigine Heaven DirectX 11 demonstration in 2022.
- Also established, with scope: UnionTech reported UOS compatibility testing, and Innosilicon reported OEM integrations and bulk project orders in 2023.
- Not established: independent modern benchmark comparisons, verified FPS in commercial games, broad game and driver compatibility, or current consumer pricing and stock.
For a buyer evaluating a specific system, the consequential checks are the exact card and memory configuration, the intended operating system and application, the installed driver, the connector layout, and measured power under the actual workload. The published API list and a single demonstration cannot answer those system-specific questions.
