4. Run Microsoft’s Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter
When Settings or Control Panel cannot remove the program, use Microsoft’s Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter. Capture the exact error text, the complete path, the app version shown in Properties and the time of the failure.
