Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 offer for Xbox Game Pass subscribers began September 17, 2024. It included six permanent skins and a one-time grant of 30 Mythic Prisms, plus subscription-dependent access to selected shop cosmetics and a 10% XP boost. The original claim deadline was October 21, 2024, so Blizzard’s announcement does not establish that the rewards can still be claimed today.
What the 2024 offer included
Blizzard’s official announcement described two kinds of benefits: permanent rewards and benefits available while the eligible subscription and account link remained active.

- Six permanent skins: Cardboard Reinhardt, Turtleship D.Va, Cyberdragon Hanzo, Street Runner Genji, Bee Mercy, and Cleric Lifeweaver.
- 30 Mythic Prisms: a one-time grant.
- Selected shop cosmetics: access to eligible cosmetics from the previous three seasons, subject to exclusions.
- 10% XP boost: an ongoing boost while the subscription and account link were maintained.
Blizzard said the subscription-dependent benefits remained active only while players kept their accounts linked and maintained an eligible subscription.
Which Game Pass tiers qualified
Blizzard named active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass for Console, and PC Game Pass accounts. The Xbox account holding the subscription had to be linked to Battle.net. The source does not establish current tier names, prices, or whether any comparable offer is available now.

What cosmetics were excluded
The selected shop-cosmetic access did not include all Overwatch 2 cosmetics. Blizzard excluded select content, including Battle Pass, collaboration, Mythic, charity, BlizzCon, and other promotional cosmetics.
Where rewards could be redeemed and used
Blizzard clarified platform access in its September 17, 2024 update:

How the original account-linking process worked
- Open the Battle.net Account Connections page and check which Xbox account is connected.
- Confirm that the connected Xbox account is the one with the eligible active subscription. If none was connected, Blizzard directed players to select “+Connect.”
- After linking, log in to Overwatch 2 again to access the offer.
These were the instructions in Blizzard’s 2024 announcement, not confirmation of current claim steps. Blizzard warned that account links have cooldowns that support could not bypass. The announcement said a wrong Xbox account could be disconnected and reconnected only under a one-year condition; if the cooldown had not expired, it said a new or different Battle.net account would be needed. Check Blizzard’s current account-linking guidance before changing a link.

Blizzard’s Season 12 announcement told players to link accounts and log in by October 21, 2024 to claim the permanent rewards. That deadline is historical; the cited announcements do not say that the launch rewards remain available now or that a replacement offer exists.
