If a Helldivers 2 Warbond, Super Credit balance, Warbond Token, or purchased item is missing, first identify which entitlement failed. Owning a Warbond is separate from unlocking its pages and items: Super Credits purchase the bundle, while War Medals pay for progression inside it. A missing item can therefore be a medal or prerequisite problem rather than a failed purchase.
Use the checks below in order. PlayStation players should verify their PSN and store regions; Steam players should check whether Family Sharing supplied the DLC; Super Citizen owners should look for a refund that removed Steeled Veterans access; and anyone looking for a Warbond Token must verify it through the Premium Warbond button because the game has no token inventory counter.

Identify exactly what is missing
Before contacting support, separate the purchase entitlement from progression. A Warbond is the content bundle. Super Credits are the currency used to buy it, and War Medals unlock the Warbond’s pages and individual items. If the Warbond appears in your collection but a weapon, armor piece, booster, or page is unavailable, inspect your medal balance and the page’s prerequisite rather than buying the Warbond again.

Fix a missing PlayStation purchase
Arrowhead says a PlayStation 5 purchase can fail to deliver when the PSN account region and the PlayStation store region used for the transaction do not match. Its example is an EU account buying from the US region. The purchase may complete at the store while the game account never receives the Super Credits or Super Citizen upgrade.

Check the account and store regions
- Confirm the country or region assigned to the PSN account that is signed in to Helldivers 2.
- Open the PlayStation purchase history and note which store region processed the transaction.
- If the regions differ, do not make another cross-region purchase to test it. Save the receipt and transaction time instead.
Request the correct remedy
Contact PlayStation Support about a refund for the incorrect-region transaction. Arrowhead cannot reverse the monetary transaction because the platform store processed it. After the refund is resolved, purchase the Super Credits or Super Citizen upgrade from the store region belonging to the PSN account. Matching regions is the supported way to have the entitlement delivered.
Restore content lost after Steam Family Sharing ended
Steam Family Sharing can make DLC appear available even when the signed-in Steam account does not own that DLC. If sharing stops, Steam revokes access to the shared DLC entitlement. In Helldivers 2 that can remove the Warbond, equipment, and Super Credits supplied by the DLC.
Confirm that sharing was the source
- Check whether the game and the missing content came from another Steam account’s Family Sharing library.
- Look at the current account’s Steam DLC list and purchase history. If the account never bought the DLC, the missing content is an entitlement change rather than a lost in-game save.
- Restart Steam and the game after checking ownership so the current license state is read again.
Choose a permanent way to regain access
- Buy the DLC on the Steam account you use to play, if you want the DLC-specific content.
- Unlock the affected Warbond with Super Credits when that Warbond is available for direct purchase.
Console account sharing does not transfer DLC between PlayStation accounts, so a console player should not expect the Steam Family Sharing remedy to apply.

Check for a Super Citizen refund that removed credits
If you bought Super Citizen, unlocked Super Credit packs in Steeled Veterans, and later refunded or otherwise lost the DLC, Arrowhead says those granted credits can be deducted. The account’s real balance may become negative even when the interface visually displays an extremely large number, including billions. That display does not mean the credits are still spendable.
What restores the balance
Repurchasing Super Citizen or unlocking Steeled Veterans restores the credits associated with the DLC. Super Credits earned through normal gameplay continue to apply normally; the deduction concerns the DLC-provided entitlement. Check your DLC status and transaction history before treating an apparently impossible balance as a separate currency bug.
Verify whether you have a Warbond Token
Warbond Tokens do not appear in a numbered inventory field. Arrowhead’s support guidance is to use the button text inside any Premium Warbond.

- Open the Warbonds screen.
- Select any Premium Warbond.
- Read the purchase button. Claim Premium Warbond means a token is available. Buy Premium Warbond means the account does not currently have a token.
A token can claim a Premium Warbond only. It cannot claim a Legendary Warbond and cannot be converted into Super Credits. If the button says “Buy Premium Warbond,” there is no missing numeric counter to recover; the account simply has no available token according to the game’s entitlement check.
Understand the Killzone Legendary Warbond exception
The Killzone Legendary Warbond uses a different eligibility rule from Premium Warbonds. Players who previously purchased at least one paid Killzone item receive the Legendary Warbond automatically. Receiving one of the listed free Killzone items does not satisfy that condition.

Review the transaction history for an actual paid item rather than relying on ownership of free promotional content. Arrowhead also states that the Killzone Warbond and its items cannot be refunded, so a purchase made under the wrong expectation is not covered by a later reversal.

Submit an Arrowhead support request with usable evidence
Once platform ownership and progression checks are complete, prepare a concise support request. Include the exact name of the missing Warbond or item, its Super Credit or War Medal cost, and the estimated time of purchase. State whether you play on PlayStation or Steam and whether the content came from a direct purchase, Family Sharing, or a DLC bundle.
Information to gather
- Platform and account identifier used in the game.
- Exact Warbond, item, upgrade, or token symptom.
- Purchase date and approximate time, with the store receipt or order number.
- Amount of Super Credits or War Medals charged, if a charge occurred.
- Whether any item has already been purchased from the Warbond.
- For Steam, whether Family Sharing recently ended.
- For PlayStation, the PSN account region and the store region used.
- For Super Citizen cases, whether the DLC was refunded or became unavailable.
These details let support distinguish an undelivered entitlement from a progression lock and prevent a generic response that sends you back to the same checks.
Know which refund channel and deadline apply
Arrowhead’s in-game refund policy covers items bought within the previous seven days. A Warbond refund is allowed only when nothing has been purchased inside that Warbond. The policy permits three refund requests per year, with up to three items in each request.

Those limits apply to eligible in-game item requests handled under Arrowhead’s policy. Platform refunds and purchases of Super Credits are handled by the platform store, not Arrowhead, because Arrowhead cannot process those monetary transactions. Send a PlayStation or Steam store payment dispute to the relevant platform holder, while using Arrowhead support for eligible in-game entitlement issues.
A practical decision path
- Open the Warbonds menu. If the Warbond is visible, check medals and page prerequisites before assuming the purchase failed.
- Classify the platform. PlayStation cases require a region check; Steam cases require an ownership and Family Sharing check.
- Check the transaction source. Identify a direct purchase, shared DLC, Super Citizen bundle, or previous Killzone item.
- Use the correct in-game test. For a token, read “Claim Premium Warbond” versus “Buy Premium Warbond.” For Killzone, verify a paid item rather than a free one.
- Route the request correctly. Ask the platform store about a payment or incorrect-region refund; ask Arrowhead about an eligible in-game entitlement or refund request.
- Attach the required facts. Provide the exact name, price or medal cost, purchase time, platform, and ownership history.
Common mistakes that make the problem harder
- Buying the same Warbond again when it is already owned but its next item requires more War Medals.
- Assuming a token must have a visible count, despite the absence of a token inventory UI.
- Treating Family Sharing access as permanent DLC ownership.
- Using a PlayStation store region different from the PSN account’s region.
- Counting a free Killzone item as the paid purchase required for automatic Legendary Warbond access.
- Requesting a Warbond refund after buying an item from it, when the seven-day policy requires the Warbond to remain untouched.
- Sending a platform payment dispute to Arrowhead, which cannot process those monetary transactions.
The fastest resolution comes from matching the symptom to the entitlement that controls it: medals for item progression, account region for PlayStation delivery, DLC ownership for shared or bundled content, button text for tokens, and paid-item history for the Killzone Warbond.
