If you want more Mass Effect now, play Mass Effect Legendary Edition: it collects the original trilogy and its single-player DLC. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a different kind of wait
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn may interest players looking for another science-fiction RPG, but it is not a Mass Effect continuation. An August 21, 2025 GamingBible report described it as a third-person action RPG from Owlcat Games, set in The Expanse universe.
In that account, players create an Earther, Belter, or Martian protagonist working as a Pinkwater Security mercenary. The reported premise includes a crew, relationships, political pressure, choices, and combat, with locations such as Ganymede, Ceres, Mars, and Luna. Those ingredients may appeal to fans of party-based sci-fi storytelling, but the setting, characters, and story are its own.
