Scopely’s first MONOPOLY GO! and Marvel crossover launched on September 26, 2024, and was announced to run through December 5, 2024. It brought Marvel characters into the mobile game through collectible sticker albums, themed events, and in-game cosmetics. That event window has passed; Scopely later announced a separate Fantastic Four collaboration.
What was the MONOPOLY GO! Marvel event?
Scopely presented the collaboration as a story in which Dr. Lizzie Bell welcomes Marvel superheroes into the game world. The launch announcement named Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool, and the Avengers among the characters featured. Scopely described it as the first brand collaboration for MONOPOLY GO! in its September 26, 2024 announcement.
The event was a limited-time mobile-game crossover, not a Marvel-themed physical board game. Its announced run ended December 5, 2024, so the launch announcement does not establish that its events or rewards are available now.
What could players collect and play?
Sticker albums and rewards
Scopely announced 20 special sticker sets that players could collect and trade with other players. Completing sticker albums unlocked Marvel tokens and shields. These were in-game collectibles and cosmetics; the announcement does not describe them as physical merchandise.

Eric Wood, Scopely’s SVP of Publishing, called the event “the first of its kind for ‘MONOPOLY GO!’” and said it “sets a new standard for incorporating major franchises into casual gaming.” Tim Hernandez, VP, Product and Creative at Marvel Games, described the collaboration as a “fun and surprisingly fitting way” to bring Marvel superheroes together with the game’s gameplay and artistry. Was there another Marvel collaboration afterward?
Yes. Scopely later announced a separate Fantastic Four collaboration, describing it as building on the September 2024 Marvel crossover. Its announcement mentioned themed Racers, Partners, Treasures, Deluxe Drop cosmetics, tokens, emojis, and shields. The cited announcement gives a July 13 launch date but does not state the year, so a year cannot be established from that source. See Scopely’s Fantastic Four announcement for its details.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Was the MONOPOLY GO! board game part of the Marvel event?
No. Scopely separately announced a physical MONOPOLY GO! tabletop game developed with Hasbro, for two to four players. At the time of that announcement, Scopely said it was available in the United States through Amazon and Target. The announcement does not describe the tabletop game as Marvel-themed or establish current retailer stock. It is a separate product from the mobile crossover; see Scopely’s board game announcement.
