Which BO3 Zombies map comes with the base game?
Shadows of Evil is the base-game Zombies experience. Activision’s Black Ops III game page describes the game’s Zombies experiences, and Activision’s launch materials identify Shadows of Evil as the new Zombies experience. If you own the base game, this is the map to look for without buying map DLC.
Is The Giant free in BO3?
Not for every player. Activision said The Giant was included with the Digital Deluxe, Hardened, and Juggernog editions and the Season Pass; Treyarch also described it as included with Collector’s Editions. Those are edition or pass entitlements, not a universal base-game inclusion. Check your platform’s owned-content list or store to see whether your copy includes it. Sources: Activision and Treyarch.

What is in Zombies Chronicles?
Zombies Chronicles adds eight remastered maps from earlier Call of Duty games: Nacht der Untoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa, Kino der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-La, Moon, and Origins. BO3’s original launch materials distinguish the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions from the PS4 and Xbox One versions, noting that the older-console versions omit some features and bonus content, including The Giant. That historical distinction does not establish what a current store listing or a particular account includes.
