The MTG Festival in a Box: Las Vegas 2025 bundle includes three groups of product: one Mystery Booster 2 display of 24 booster packs, a Slay the Day Foil Edition Secret Lair Drop with four foil cards, and three promo cards. These details come from Wizards of the Coast’s official Secret Lair product listing, as checked on October 8, 2026.
What the bundle contains
Mystery Booster 2 display
- One Mystery Booster 2 display box, holding 24 booster packs.
- The listing describes the display’s cards as carrying “nearly 200 set symbols.” That is Wizards’ descriptive wording, not an audited count.
Slay the Day Foil Edition Secret Lair Drop
- Foil Marwyn, the Nurturer
- Foil Liesa, Shroud of Dusk
- Foil Oloro, Ageless Ascetic
- Foil Sythis, Harvest’s Hand
Promo cards
- Foil Sliver Hive
- Foil Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
- The All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet playtest card
The product copy frames the bundle as “Viva MagicCon: Las Vegas!”, presenting it as a way to bring the convention experience home. The listing itself, not the framing, is the source for what is included.
How the Mystery Booster 2 packs are built
Mystery Booster 2 is a chaos-draft product, with cards drawn from across Magic’s history. Each pack is 15 cards and includes three special slots, according to the official listing:
- One white-border card. A card printed with a white border rather than the standard black.
- One playtest card. A card drawn from Magic’s playtest material.
- One Future Sight-frame card. This card is printed in the Future Sight frame treatment. The listing says it “might even be one of 15 exclusively foil cards,” so the foil treatment is a chance, not a guarantee in every pack.
For design context, Eric Engelhard’s Wizards of the Coast article “The Nonsense Files: Designing Mystery Booster 2 for Draft,” published December 5, 2024, explains how the set was developed for drafting and how its card sheets were designed, including the white-border and frame choices. The Festival in a Box product listing remains the reference for what is in this bundle.

Counting the cards
Twenty-four packs of 15 cards come to 360 cards in the display, by simple multiplication. The listing does not state a total for the full bundle. The Secret Lair drop and the three promo cards are separate items on top of the display, so the complete bundle contains more cards than the display alone, but no official aggregate figure is given.

The official UK listing states that the cards are English only. That page showed a pre-order button and the line “Shipping begins July 22,” but it does not give a year for that date. Treat it as a listing detail from the page at the time it was captured, not as a confirmed shipping date for your order.
