The Space Marine 2 Ultra Edition was announced as a digital-only package containing the base game, Macragge’s Chosen DLC, the Season Pass, the Ultramarines Champion Pack, and preorder early access of up to four days. Early access was a 2024 preorder benefit, not a feature to expect when buying the game now.
What comes with the Space Marine 2 Ultra Edition?
Focus Entertainment’s May 23, 2024 announcement lists these contents for the Ultra Edition:
- Base game: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
- Macragge’s Chosen DLC: included in the announced bundle.
- Space Marine 2 Season Pass: Focus later said the pass covers content from seasons 1 through 4.
- Ultramarines Champion Pack: two unique cosmetics, for the Heavy Bolter and Power Armour.
- Up to four days of early access: offered to preorders before the game’s September 9, 2024 release. The announcement said timing depended on preorder date, platform, and availability, and required an internet connection. This offer has expired.

What does the Season Pass add?
Focus described the Season Pass as cosmetic content. Its announcement said that missions, enemies, and weapons would be available to all players through regular free updates, rather than being exclusive to the pass. The FAQ says the pass covers seasons 1 through 4.
