What did NASCAR announce about pre-orders and gameplay?
NASCAR’s September 11, 2025 announcement said the NASCAR 25 gameplay reveal was coming the following week. A contemporaneous Insider Gaming report specified September 18 for both the reveal trailer and the opening of pre-orders. At the time, full pre-order details, including special editions, were expected when pre-orders opened; the announcement did not establish that every retailer listing would appear at a particular time.

What is included in NASCAR 25?
Four NASCAR series
Official materials identify four included series: NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, CRAFTSMAN Truck, and ARCA Menards. Career Mode spans all four, while the series also feature in quick races, seasons, and online multiplayer.
Career and customization
The launch announcement describes a career in which players can customize a driver and vehicles, manage contracts, money, facilities, and staff, and make strategic decisions. The official site also describes customization for cars, firesuits, helmets, and haulers, with up to four looks per series.

The official site advertises more than 200 drivers and 30 laser-scanned tracks. Those are product feature counts stated by iRacing Studios, not independent measurements.
Online multiplayer
iRacing Studios says online multiplayer supports up to 40 players. That is the stated maximum; actual matchmaking, session availability, and player counts can depend on the game and online service.

Why was this release notable?
iRacing’s launch release described NASCAR 25 as its first standalone NASCAR console title. NASCAR’s retrospective on the project describes a team drawing on iRacing and Papyrus racing-simulation heritage, Monster Games’ work on Dirt to Daytona, and staff with EA Sports NASCAR experience. NASCAR Vice President of Interactive and Emerging Platforms Nick Rend said fans had been asking for a “true next-gen NASCAR console experience”; that is the publisher’s characterization, not an independent assessment of the game.
