When did Citadelle des Morts launch?
Activision’s Season 01 Reloaded announcement set the map’s launch for Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 9AM PT. It said the map experience would launch at the start of the mid-season update.
The announcement states the time in Pacific Time. The reviewed official announcements do not give a complete regional release-time schedule, so they do not establish corresponding local times for every country.
How did the release fit into the Black Ops 6 season?
Activision’s November 7, 2024, Season 01 overview first described Citadelle des Morts as an upcoming mid-season Zombies map, with a full reveal expected before the early-December content drop. The later Season 01 Reloaded announcement supplied the exact December 5 date and 9AM PT time.

This places Citadelle des Morts in the earlier part of the game’s post-launch Zombies story.
What is Citadelle des Morts?
Citadelle des Morts is a map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, not a separately announced standalone game. Activision describes Black Ops 6 as including Round-Based Zombies and additional post-launch maps on its Black Ops 6 game page.

The map’s setting is an ominous medieval fortress in Avalon. Its story follows the events of Terminus and centers on the crew’s search for Gabriel Krafft and the Sentinel Artifact, according to the Season 01 Reloaded announcement.

No. The December 5, 2024 schedule confirms when Activision announced the map would launch. It does not, by itself, verify current server access, ownership requirements, subscription status, or availability on a particular platform. The date should therefore be read as historical release information, not a guarantee of present-day access.
