Dragon Age: The Veilguard released worldwide on Thursday, October 31, 2024. It is already out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
When was Dragon Age: The Veilguard released?
Electronic Arts announced October 31, 2024 as the worldwide release date, and EA’s launch notice confirmed the game was available that day. The date is historical, not an upcoming launch.
Which platforms can you play it on?
EA announced releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. On PC, EA named Steam, the EA app and the Epic Games Store as storefronts. EA’s current buy page also links to the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. Check EA’s buy page for the available platform storefronts; regional availability and store listings can change.

What did BioWare say when it announced the date?
In BioWare’s August 15, 2024 announcement, Creative Director John Epler said: “As someone who’s been working on Dragon Age for over 15 years, I know just how much our community has been looking forward to this day, and I’m equally excited to share and celebrate that the game will officially launch on October 31,” Read BioWare’s announcement.
