Ultron became playable in Marvel Rivals on May 30, 2025, with the Season 2.5 update. He was first announced for the second half of Season 2, but that broad window was later narrowed to a confirmed date. His release has already happened.
When did Ultron come to Marvel Rivals?
Ultron launched as a playable character on May 30, 2025, alongside Season 2.5. The official Season 2.5 Dev Vision announced the date and Ultron’s arrival; the Version 20250530 patch notes corroborate the update’s launch.
Why was Ultron described as coming in the second half of Season 2?
When Marvel Games and NetEase Games announced Season 2 on April 3, 2025, they said it would begin April 11 and last three months. Emma Frost was planned for the first half, with Ultron arriving in the second half as part of the Hellfire Gala story. That was the original release window; Season 2.5 supplied the specific date: May 30, 2025. The Season 2 announcement provides the initial schedule.
Is Ultron out in Marvel Rivals yet?
Yes. As of October 8, 2026, Ultron’s May 30, 2025 release is in the past, not an upcoming launch.
