If you want the original PES 21, search for a used copy of eFootball PES 2021 Season Update. Konami released a physical Standard Edition for PS4 and Xbox One, so a used disc is the clearest route to look for; current stock and prices depend on your location and seller. For PC, Konami released the game through Steam, but current Steam listings show the different, free-to-play successor, eFootball.
Where to look for the original PES 21
Search local game shops and secondhand marketplaces for the full title, eFootball PES 2021 Season Update. Konami described it as a standalone release with updated player and club data, based on PES 2020 gameplay. Its 2020 launch announcement confirms a physical Standard Edition for PS4 and Xbox One, as well as digital editions for those consoles and a PC release through Steam. That confirms the original release formats, not what is in stock today. Konami’s launch announcement

Look for a used physical copy if you need PES 2021 itself. Check that the listing is for the complete game disc, not a bonus or download code, and inspect the disc’s condition. Confirm the console edition and region details against your system and the seller’s listing before paying.
PC
Konami released PES 2021 for PC through Steam, but the current Steam listing found is for eFootball, not PES 2021. The available information does not establish that PES 2021 is currently purchasable digitally on Steam. Avoid assuming that an old third-party key will work or buying an account transfer.

Is eFootball the same as PES 21?
No. Current official storefronts list eFootball, Konami’s free-to-play successor, rather than PES 2021 Season Update. You can find it on Konami’s eFootball site, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Store; Steam lists it as free to play as well. It is a current Konami football game, but it is a different release and not a way to download the original PES 21.

What to check before buying
- Exact title: Look for “eFootball PES 2021 Season Update,” not just a vague “PES” listing.
- Platform and region: Make sure the copy is for your console and check any region or compatibility information in the listing.
- What is included: Confirm that a physical listing includes the game disc. Treat bonus codes as uncertain; do not assume an old code remains valid.
- Condition and seller: Check the disc condition, listing details, and seller terms. The original launch announcement does not establish today’s condition, availability, or price.
- Online modes: Konami reports that PES 2021 online services ended on PS4 in the US, EU, Japan, and Asia, and on Steam worldwide. If online play matters, check Konami’s service-status notice and confirm that the modes you want are still available. The cited notice does not establish PS4 service status for every region or Xbox status.
Which route makes sense?
| Route | What it offers | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Used PS4 disc | Original PES 2021 Standard Edition, if you find a usable copy | Disc condition, region compatibility, and that it is the full game |
| Used Xbox One disc | Original PES 2021 Standard Edition, if you find a usable copy | Console compatibility, disc condition, region, and listing details |
| Existing digital library | Potential access to a copy you previously acquired | Sign in to the owning account and check the platform library for redownload access |
| Current official eFootball listing | Konami’s current free-to-play football game | It is the successor, not PES 2021 Season Update |
| PC Steam | Current listing for eFootball | PES 2021 is not established as currently purchasable there |
