The Pale Heart offers two more Lost Sectors with Taken among their listed enemies: Blooming Deep and Broken Deep. Enemy listings for these sectors come from the community-maintained Destiny 2 Wiki (D2 Wiki), not from an official Bungie directory, so confirm in game that the expected enemies are present before you commit to a run.
Dreaming City Lost Sectors
The Dreaming City has the two Lost Sectors that the D2 Wiki lists as Taken sectors. Both are the best starting point if you want a direct route.

- Aphelion’s Rest: located in The Strand within the Dreaming City.
- Chamber of Starlight: located in Rheasilvia within the Dreaming City.
The D2 Wiki’s Lost Sectors list gives Taken as the enemy type for both. It does not guarantee a particular spawn at any given moment, and it does not measure how quickly either sector can be completed compared with the other, so treat the two as equivalent options rather than a fastest route.
Pale Heart Lost Sectors
The Pale Heart also has two Lost Sectors where the D2 Wiki lists Taken alongside Dread:

- From the makers of the acclaimed hit game Destiny, comes the much-anticipated sequel
- An action shooter that takes you on an epic journey across the solar system
- Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion
- To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home
- Blooming Deep: listed with Dread and Taken enemies.
- Broken Deep: listed with Dread and Taken enemies.
If you are already in the Pale Heart or prefer not to travel to the Dreaming City, these two sectors are the alternative. Expect a mixed enemy set rather than Taken only.
Taken in Dreaming City Ascendant Challenges
A community guide on the D2 Wiki’s Dreaming City page also describes Taken appearing in Ascendant Challenges, naming Cimmerian Garrison and Ouroborea. These are additional activity options rather than Lost Sectors. Whether a given Ascendant Challenge is available, and which one is active, depends on the current rotation, so check the in-game activity list before you go.

Where the Information Comes From and Current Game Status
Bungie announced on May 21, 2026 that the June 9, 2026 Monument of Triumph update would be Destiny 2’s final major content update, and that the game would remain playable after it. That announcement is the authority for the game’s status, but it does not list Taken locations. Bungie’s May 28, 2026 developer article, “Dev Insights – Return of the Director,” describes destinations as places for public events, patrols, secrets, and encounters between factions, and it also does not enumerate current Taken locations.
The exact Lost Sector enemy listings above are therefore attributed to the D2 Wiki’s “Lost Sectors” and “Dreaming City” pages, which were accessed on October 8, 2026. Enemy listings on community references can lag behind game changes, so an in-game check is the final word.
