Xalx is an NPC in the Goblin Holdout, inside the Crystal Hollows. Xalx’s exact placement is not fixed: the Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki’s Crystal Hollows NPC entry says locations vary by lobby, and lists Xalx’s location as “Varies.” The practical way to find Xalx is to go to the Goblin Holdout and look for a specific visual landmark rather than a coordinate.
Where to search
Head to the Goblin Holdout in the Crystal Hollows. The Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki places Xalx as an NPC in this area. Because the wiki notes that Crystal Hollows NPC positions vary by lobby, do not expect Xalx to stand at the same spot every time you log in.
How to recognize the area
A player-written guide on the Hypixel Forums describes the most useful cue: a small ravine covered with green tarp-like blocks made from wool, along with wooden platforms. Xalx is described as being down a short tunnel that branches off one of those platforms.
Step-by-step search
- Travel to the Crystal Hollows and enter the Goblin Holdout.
- Find the small ravine with green wool-block coverings and wooden platforms.
- Walk along the platforms and check for a short tunnel branching off them. Do not limit your search to the open ravine floor.
- Follow the tunnel to its end and look for Xalx there.
If Xalx is not in the expected spot
Because placement varies by lobby, Xalx may simply be elsewhere in your current instance. A 2023 Hypixel Forums discussion reports that Xalx may not be present in a given lobby, and a common community suggestion is to try a different lobby. This is a practical workaround from players, not a guaranteed fix: the sources reviewed do not establish a current rule that guarantees Xalx will spawn in any particular lobby.

Safety in the ravine
The same forum guide says some goblins in this ravine attack players. This is a player’s report, not official documentation, so approach the area with your gear and health in mind.
What Xalx is connected to
According to the wiki’s Xalx entry, Xalx gives Mysterious Meat and can appear as a visitor in The Garden. The forum guide adds that talking to Xalx is needed for the Garden visitor connection. Treat that second point as community guidance rather than a verified current requirement.

How reliable this location information is
The location and structure details come from a community-maintained wiki and a player-written forum guide, not from official game documentation. Spawn behavior and visitor requirements can change with game updates, and no current official spawn specification was found. If the landmark described above does not match what you see, check the wiki’s current Xalx entry and the Crystal Hollows NPC list for updates.
The sources give a useful in-game answer but no fixed coordinates, so your best approach is to combine the Goblin Holdout location with the ravine-and-tunnel landmark and, if needed, switch lobbies.
