If you want the largest group of games with the fewest transactions, the Switch or Steam bundle is the sensible first purchase. On Steam, you can then add the separate Lords of Shadow releases and other listings if you want the modern 3D games as well.

Konami lists the Anniversary Collection for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam and Xbox Series X|S. It is the collection to choose for the earliest console and portable eras, including NES, Super NES, Game Boy and the 16-bit Bloodlines period.

What is in the Dominus Collection?
Konami lists Dominus for Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It brings together the three Nintendo DS-era Castlevania releases and two Haunted Castle versions.

Can you play Dawn of Sorrow without a Nintendo DS?
Yes. Buying Dominus on Switch, Steam, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S gives you the collection version without requiring original DS hardware. The same applies to Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia. The purchase is still platform-specific: owning a Switch copy does not automatically grant a Steam, PlayStation or Xbox copy.
How to buy the three-collection bundle
Nintendo Switch
- Open the Nintendo eShop on your Switch or use Nintendo’s regional web store.
- Search for Castlevania Collections Bundle, not just an individual game.
- Open the product details and verify that Anniversary, Advance and Dominus are listed in the included software.
- Check the account country and currency. Nintendo’s listing is region-dependent, so a result in another country’s store is not evidence that your account can purchase it.
- Complete the purchase and download each included collection from your library.
The Switch bundle is the fewest-purchase route for the 17 named collection games plus Haunted Castle and Haunted Castle Revisited. If the bundle does not appear, search each collection separately and confirm that Dominus is sold in your eShop region.

- Open Steam and search for Castlevania Collections Bundle.
- Read the bundle contents before checkout. Steam’s product copy describes it as a bundle containing Dominus, Advance and Anniversary.
- Check the store’s regional purchase notice, particularly for Dominus. Availability can differ by country.
- After purchase, install the individual collection entries from your Steam library.
- Search the Castlevania publisher catalog for standalone releases if you also want the Lords of Shadow games or Belmont’s Curse.
Steam may adjust bundle pricing based on games you already own, but the cited listing establishes the three collections in the bundle, not a universal price or discount. Check the live page at checkout.

PlayStation

A Series X|S listing is not automatically a promise that an older Xbox One version exists.

The Steam publisher catalog contains several releases outside the three collections:

Steam shows Belmont’s Curse with a release date of October 14, 2026. Konami’s FY2026 investor presentation lists Belmont’s Curse for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam, with a global 2026 release plan. Because release timing and storefront activation can differ, verify that the game is purchasable in your country rather than relying only on the announced platform list.

Games that still need a separate storefront check
No single cited listing proves that every historical Castlevania game is currently sold in every country. The following prominent titles are not named in the three collections or the additional Steam listings above:
- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
- Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
- The Nintendo 64 Castlevania games
- The PlayStation 2 Castlevania games

Is Symphony of the Night on Steam?
The documented Steam catalog and collection descriptions do not establish a Steam release for Symphony of the Night. Do not infer that it is included in Anniversary, Advance or Dominus. Search your local console and PC storefronts directly, because availability can be limited to particular regions, platforms or editions.
Why regional checking matters
