There are nine Crosses of Saint James to find in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Collect them as Phyre, then return to Patience at Aurora Pawn to finish the collectibles quest. Use the landmarks below to find each one; guides warn that the Weaver Tower sequence can become a point of no return, so collect any remaining crosses before starting it.
All nine Crosses of Saint James locations
The locations below are described in PC Gamer’s guide and corroborated by other walkthroughs. A crosshair that expands when you aim toward a nearby cross can help you pinpoint one.
- Haven: Go to the apartment building’s second floor and check the present beneath the Christmas tree.
- Glacier Hotel: Take the elevator to the top and head toward Lou’s Seattle lookout. Stay on the balcony rather than turning left; the cross is stuck in a picture of Seattle.
- Makom Bar: Enter the storage room at the back and look on top of a barrel in the back-left area.
- Benny’s Auto Repair: After entering the shop, look to the right for a pegboard where the cross hangs among the tools.
- Hole in the Wall: Turn around from Katsumi’s usual spot and inspect the dartboard; the cross is embedded in it.
- Weaver Tower: Take the elevator to the floor where Ryong and Safia spend time. Turn right after exiting and check the arm of a lobby couch.
- Aurora Pawn: In the backroom outside Patience’s cubby, look up and to the right. The cross is stuck in a poster.
- Wake the Dead: Check the shelves to the right of Mrs. Thorn. The cross is displayed in an open book.
- The Dutchman: Go to the back-left of Silky’s club and enter the first-floor bathroom. The cross is stuck in the broken mirror above the sink.
Walkthroughs differ on some room-position details, including the floor description for Haven and the shelf position at Wake the Dead. Use the nearby landmarks if a floor or direction does not match your layout.
How to start the quest and claim the reward
Talk to Patience at Aurora Pawn about their art to start the quest PC Gamer calls “Crosses to Bear.” Quest naming is not consistent across guides; VGTimes calls it “Defiant Crosses,” so use the label shown in your game if the exact name matters. Collect all nine as Phyre, then return them to Patience. PowerPyx reports a reward of 2,000 XP for turning in the set. PC Gamer also says collecting every cross as Phyre counts toward the Crucifixation achievement.

Collect the crosses before the Weaver Tower sequence
PowerPyx warns that you must collect the crosses before entering Weaver Tower during The Coursing of the Rats, describing the sequence as one you cannot exit. NoobFeed gives a similar warning. Treat this as a guide-reported risk, not a confirmed current bug: official patch notes discuss collectibles reappearing on pre-update saves and list quest and progression fixes, but do not specifically confirm that this point-of-no-return issue was fixed. If you have a prior save, keep it before beginning the sequence.
