Embercore Flowers are found in Natlan, the region added to Genshin Impact in its 6.0 update. The best-documented clusters sit near Sulfurous Veins and Ameyalco Waters, and a separate group of five is hidden underground in Ameyalco Waters. Each flower starts closed, so you have to strike the bud to open it before you can collect the flower. If you would rather not farm the map, you can also buy them from Cintli at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame.
Where Embercore Flowers grow
The in-game item description says the flower can be found across the plains and highlands of its region. In practice, guides point players toward two areas of Natlan as the most productive starting points:
- Sulfurous Veins. Game8’s Natlan location guide lists these flowers as common in this area, and it is the simplest place to begin if you are working through the region for the first time.
- Ameyalco Waters. The surface portion of this area also has flowers, and it is the entry point for the underground group described below.
These are area-level directions, not exact pins. Positions can shift between map revisions, so check an interactive map for the precise spawn spots before you plan a route. Game8 and GameWith both publish location guides that you can compare against your own map.
How to collect an Embercore Flower
Walking up to a flower does nothing. The bud has to be hit first.

- Locate a closed Embercore Flower bud in Sulfurous Veins or Ameyalco Waters.
- Attack the bud with either a physical or an elemental attack. Game8 notes that both types open it.
- Once the bud opens, walk over and collect the flower that is now exposed.
Because the flower is a field gathering item, the practical limit is how many you can reach in a session rather than a purchase cap. Expect to strike several buds as you move through an area.
Buying Embercore Flowers from Cintli
If you have already reached the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, you can buy the flowers instead of gathering them. GameWith reports that Cintli sells 15 Embercore Flowers per restock. The same source says stock refreshes periodically, but the accessible passage does not give an exact refresh interval, so check the shop directly rather than planning around a fixed timer.

Use the shop when you need a predictable batch quickly, and use the field when you are already exploring and want to clear buds along the way.
The underground Ameyalco Waters group
GameWith identifies five Embercore Flowers in an underground section of Ameyalco Waters. This area is the one that needs the most preparation.

- Movement: GameWith recommends crossing it with the abilities of Koholasaurus or Mualani, which are the characters whose movement tools suit the terrain.
- Yield: Five flowers in total, so it is a small detour rather than a major farm.
How many Embercore Flowers exist
Game8’s Natlan map guide reports 58 Embercore Flowers, a figure it published in 2026. That count reflects the scope and layout that guide used. Other guides describe route totals at different scopes, and map coverage can change with game updates, so treat 58 as the count for that specific guide rather than a fixed total for the whole game. If you are tracking a completion goal, verify against a current map for your version.
What Embercore Flowers are used for
The flowers are a material with several in-game uses, according to GameWith:
- Purchasing Natlan weapon diagrams
- Cooking recipes
- Crafting Ember Bait
These uses are game-system functions. The flowers do not have any physical equivalent.

The in-game description reads: “A strange flower that can be found all over the plains and highlands. Mature buds will bloom after being hit.” It is item text rather than a statement from a developer or named individual.
