The Scaly Invaders quest reference describes eliminating Saurians at Harve Village and returning later to deal with the remaining infestation. This makes Harve a useful place to check when following that quest, but the source does not establish a precise quest trigger or a fixed spawn schedule.

The enemy entry notes that dismembering a Saurian’s tail can weaken it. A separate Saurian Tail item reference lists the tail as useful for equipment enhancements and as a curative. That does not mean every Saurian drops one, so do not count on a tail from each encounter.
