Zhorik’s stash is inside a crashed helicopter in the Lesser Zone, north or northeast of the Post Office and east of the Boiler House. Zhorik marks it on your map as an optional objective called Find Zhorik’s Stash, which belongs to the Dangerous Visitors side quest. Guides report a Viper-5 SMG and basic supplies inside. The wreck sits in a marshy pond beside water that is reported to be radioactive, so approach with care.
Where the helicopter is
The wreck lies in the Lesser Zone. Guides describe it as north or northeast of the Post Office and east of the Boiler House. Directions differ slightly from one guide to another, so treat the landmarks as a rough orientation and rely on the marker Zhorik places on your PDA map once the objective is active.
How the stash fits into Dangerous Visitors
After the encounter at the Post Office, speak with Zhorik and take on the job of rescuing his partner, Gloomy. During Dangerous Visitors, the game offers Find Zhorik’s Stash as an optional objective. Follow the marked location to the crashed helicopter.
The stash is optional. Game8 notes that a player focused on the rescue can go straight to the Boiler House without it. Treat the detour as a worthwhile early pickup rather than a requirement for finishing the side mission.
#1 Best Overall
- Choose between iron-on and hook-and-loop backing.
- We use professional grade iron-on adhesive material for a super strong bond. No sewing required.
- Iron-on instructions and a properly sized piece of Teflon sheet are included.
- Hook-and-loop patches are made with the "hook" side (the scratchy side) on the patch.
What you can expect to find
Guide reports, as of October 2026, list the following contents. Patches or individual save states may change them, so treat this as a general expectation rather than a guarantee.
- Weapon: a Viper-5 submachine gun. Game8 lists it in full durability.
- Ammunition: 9x19mm rounds, according to Shacknews.
- Supplies: bread, canned food, and bandages, according to Shacknews.
Approaching the wreck safely
The helicopter sits in a marshy pond. QM Games warns that radioactive water surrounds it and describes reaching the wreck by crossing debris. No official documentation specifies a safe crossing route, so do not assume any particular path is free of hazard. Move slowly, watch your condition indicators, and use the map marker to keep your bearings.

- Brand New in box. The product ships with all relevant accessories
The official GSC beginner guide confirms that the PDA map shows your location, quest markers, caches, and other important markers. That supports using the marker to find the wreck, though the guide does not document this stash’s exact position.
