The Spaceport Trench Tower Key opens locked doors at the North and South Trench Towers on Spaceport. You can find it through scavenging or as a reward from the Switching the Supply quest. Public guides from 2026 do not show a fixed, guaranteed location where it always spawns, so treat scavenging as a chance to find one rather than a reliable pickup.
Where the key comes from
Two acquisition paths are reported:
- Scavenging. The ARC Raiders Wiki lists the key as a scavenged item. No specific container, room or map point is tied to it in the sources, so you will need to search Spaceport as you normally would.
- Switching the Supply. According to the Arc Raiders AI guide (2026), the Celeste quest Switching the Supply rewards one Spaceport Trench Tower Key. This is the only quest reward reported for the key.
Guides do not describe a loot table, drop rate or how often the key appears in scavenging. The ARC Raiders Wiki classifies the key as uncommon. Shacknews’s Spaceport guide calls it a “rare breed,” which reads as descriptive phrasing rather than a formal rarity rating, so the wiki’s uncommon label is the one to rely on.
Where to use it
The key is used at the Trench Towers in Spaceport. Guides name two towers, the North Trench Tower and the South Trench Tower, and both are the use locations for the key. Use this sequence:
- Open your Spaceport map and locate the North and South Trench Towers.
- Travel to the tower you need. The Turnabout objective (see below) points to the North tower.
- Go up to the first or second floor and look for the locked doors that match the key.
- Interact with the matching door to unlock it.
Sources reviewed do not give a fully verified route from a map landmark to a specific door, and they do not describe the exact entrance to each tower. If you are following a written route, check it against the tower you are in before committing time to it.

How many doors one key opens
The ARC Raiders Wiki counts eight compatible locked doors across the two towers: two on each of the first and second floors of both towers. The wiki’s item text reads, “Unlocks a door to the Trench Towers in Spaceport.”
Some guides show two key markers on the Spaceport map. The Arc Raiders AI guide explains that these markers identify the two towers, not each individual door. The map count and the wiki count therefore describe different things and do not conflict.

The per-tower door count is derived from the wiki’s total of eight. Pick the tower closer to your current route, since no source shows one tower offering better loot than the other.
Turnabout and Switching the Supply
The Turnabout guide reported by Arc Raiders AI says the objective directs you to the North Trench Tower and requires a key to complete. Switching the Supply is the quest that rewards the key, so a player who needs the key for Turnabout can get it from that quest. Confirm your quest state in-game before you travel, because quest wording and requirements can change with patches.
What is not established
- A guaranteed scavenging spawn point for the key.
- Current room loot inside the Trench Towers.
- Whether the key is consumed when it unlocks a door. The sources do not settle this point, so do not assume either way.
- Any official developer confirmation of the key or quest behavior. The information here comes from a community wiki and third-party game guides dated 2026, and the wiki does not list a publication date.
Use the eight-door count and the two-tower layout as the reliable parts of this guide. Treat the acquisition details as the current state reported by guides, and verify them in-game when you play.

Ask the question another way if the wording matters: “Where do you use the Spaceport Trench Tower Key?” is the phrasing Arc Raiders AI uses for its own FAQ, and the answer is the North or South Trench Tower on Spaceport.
