The blacksmith who repairs your gear in No Rest for the Wicked is Fillmore. You first find him in the Mess Hall early in the game, and after you reach Sacrament you can return to him there. The location details below come from a Moon Studios update and guides and forum posts dated 2024, so confirm them against your current build.
Finding Fillmore early in the game
Fillmore is the first blacksmith you can use. He is held in the Mess Hall, and community directions describe the route in as blocked by a locked door, with enemies guarding him. Reaching him early means dealing with both before any repairs are possible.
Players often search for this as the first blacksmith to repair a broken weapon in the starting area. A May 3, 2024 thread on the official forum asks exactly that, and its replies are the main community source for the Mess Hall route: the official forum thread on the first blacksmith.
Repairing at Sacrament
Once you reach Sacrament, Fillmore is available there. Gamer Guides places him on the town’s eastern edge, reachable from the fast-travel point, and its repair guide lists both the Mess Hall and Sacrament as places he repairs gear and weapons. Repair powder as a fallback
A player reports that repair powder can be used from inventory for an immediate repair, which would let you skip the trip to a blacksmith. Replies in the May 2024 forum discussion also mention a repair rune. This is player reporting, not official documentation, and the exact current behavior of either item is not confirmed. Check your inventory before you count on it. The discussion is in the same thread as the Mess Hall route: a May 16, 2024 forum post on repair options.
Costs and durability can change
Gamer Guides notes that repair costs and durability were being adjusted during Early Access. Moon Studios’ July 25, 2024 update, The Crucible, says early hotfixes improved “game systems like Durability and Inventory,” but it does not list repair instructions or prices. No exact cost is given here, because the figures from 2024 may no longer match the game. Check the current cost in-game before you plan around it.

In practice, the repair location is the stable part of this answer. Fillmore has been the blacksmith in both the Mess Hall and Sacrament according to the sources, but the price and durability rules are the parts most likely to have moved.
If you have the tools to repair your own equipment but you do not have a supply of the powder mentioned above, the blacksmith remains the reliable option.
