The Venom twerk emote is called Symbiote Boogie. Its free unlock came from the April 2025 Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event, which has ended. According to a GamesRadar+ guide (as crawled on October 8, 2026), the only route still reported is a purchase for 500 Units in the in-game Store, after which the emote is equipped through Venom’s Hero Tab. Confirm the displayed price and availability in your own game client before you buy, because store prices and listings change.
Current route: buy Symbiote Boogie for 500 Units
The reported paid route is the only way to get the emote that is still described in current coverage. Two independent sources describe the same price, though neither is official price documentation.
- Launch Marvel Rivals and open the in-game Store.
- Go to Venom’s hero page. A Steam Community player report places the emote’s purchase on Venom’s hero page, under his emotes.
- Purchase Symbiote Boogie for 500 Units. Check that the displayed cost matches this figure before you confirm.
- Open the main menu, select the Hero Tab, and choose Venom.
- Add Symbiote Boogie to Venom’s radial menu. Once it is in that menu, you can use it in matches.
GamesRadar+ attributes the 500 Units figure to its own reporting. The Steam post corroborates the amount from a player’s experience. Neither source establishes that the price is the same on every platform or in every region, so treat 500 Units as the price reported at the time of writing, not a fixed one.
The original free route (expired)
The emote was first offered free as an April Fools-period reward tied to Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure, a time-limited board event. Marvel Rivals’ own account announced it on March 28, 2025, and India Today Gaming reproduced the post in its guide. The post read:
#1 Best Overall
- HIGHLY ARTICULATED FIGURE: Features 90 points of articulation allowing for dynamic action poses and display options, bringing Venom to life from Marvel Rivals
- DETAILED MODEL KIT: Includes 185 pieces with movable tentacles, rotatable tongue, and adjustable hips to capture Venom's fierce and menacing character
- ICONIC ACCESSORIES: Comes with Venom tentacles and attack effect hand accessories to recreate epic battle scenes and signature moves
- TOOL-FREE ASSEMBLY: Easy snap-together construction requires no tools or glue, making assembly quick and straightforward for builders ages 14 and up
- PERFECT SIZE: Stands approximately 6 inches tall, making it an ideal display piece for desks, shelves, or alongside other Marvel collectibles
“That’s right, it’s not a joke – finish Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure and collect all 24 rewards on the path to unlock the Symbiote Boogie emote!”
The event used a board that advanced as players completed missions. Those missions awarded Galacta’s Power Cosmic, which players spent on rolls to move along the path. The emote was reached only after all 24 other board rewards were collected. The deadline was April 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM PDT. Anyone looking for the free method should treat it as a closed historical event: it is not available now, and the board steps no longer apply.

How much to trust the current price
The 500 Units figure has two sources, but neither is an official listing. The official Marvel Rivals patch notes for Version 20250619, published June 17, 2025, show that the game uses time-limited events and store listings, but they do not mention Symbiote Boogie. Those notes therefore cannot confirm the emote’s present price or availability. If the Store shows a different amount, or does not list the emote at all, the in-game listing is the more reliable guide.
No source reviewed for this article confirms that every platform or region sells the emote, and this article has not tested the purchase itself.
