To cure an illness or injury in Where Winds Meet, open Constitution, select the condition, and follow its displayed Evolution Path. If it says Self-Heal Possible, use those instructions; otherwise, or if self-recovery fails, choose Seek the Doctor to find clinic or player-healer treatment. Restoring HP with medicine does not necessarily clear a listed condition.
Check what the condition requires
- Open the red illness icon and go to Constitution.
- Select the illness or injury and read its effects and Evolution Path. If it is marked Self-Heal Possible, follow the instructions shown for that condition.
- If treatment is required, or the condition remains after self-recovery, select Seek the Doctor.
HP recovery and condition treatment are separate: medicine that restores health may leave an illness or injury in place, including effects on movement. Use the condition panel to check whether the ailment itself has cleared. Treatment walkthrough
Choose a treatment route
| Route | When to use it | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Self-recovery | The condition panel says Self-Heal Possible. | Follow the condition’s displayed instructions and then check Constitution again. |
| Evercare Clinic | You want NPC treatment and the clinic can treat the selected condition. | Confirm the treatment option and displayed fee before proceeding. |
| Player healer | The clinic cannot help, or you prefer another player’s treatment. | Review the healer’s recommended mastery and consultation fee before accepting. |
Visit Evercare Clinic
Evercare Clinic is in Qinghe, south of Blissful Retreat. Speak with Yao Yaoyao, choose the dialogue option for feeling unwell, and select your condition. Check the displayed fee and confirm that the NPC can treat it. If not, use the player-healer route. Treatment walkthrough
Find a player healer
- From Constitution, select Condition → Seek the Doctor → Find Healers.
- Review a suggested healer and their fee, then invite the player to a co-op room.
- Meet them and review the consultation fee before accepting treatment.
If a direct invitation does not work, the walkthrough also describes using Post Bounty to request a healer. Review the illness, recommended Healers Mastery, and bounty cost before posting. Treatment walkthrough
#1 Best Overall
Treat another player
For open-world patient treatment, the walkthrough says the healer must first complete Healer’s Calling. Then approach the patient, activate Wind Sense, select Heal in the illness panel, review the diagnosis and recommended Healers Mastery, and choose Start Treatment. Treatment walkthrough
Verify that the ailment cleared
After treatment, reopen Constitution and inspect the condition list. If the red illness icon remains, check whether another condition is still active or whether the selected condition needs another attempt. The icon can remain when more than one category is affected. Treatment walkthrough
Be cautious with ailment-specific cure lists
An older guide lists examples including Fracture, Poison, Fire Madness, Miasma, Sprain, and Food Poisoning, and suggests environmental remedies such as water for Fire Madness or a fire source for Miasma. But that guide says it has not been checked against 2026 updates and that its numbers and rankings are unverified. Treat those specific remedies, as well as any listed timings, prices, probabilities, or complete ailment mappings, as provisional—not current confirmed mechanics. Check the Constitution panel’s instructions first. Ailment guide Treatment walkthrough
