But the leak itself has not been authenticated: the available sources do not establish that a particular leaked image showed Blackwell Fields or matched the released map. EA’s later briefing confirms what Blackwell Fields is like in the game, not where the alleged leak came from.
Is the leaked Battlefield 6 Season 1 map Blackwell Fields or Eastwood?
Blackwell Fields is the strongest match. EA identified it as a Season 1 launch map, while Eastwood was introduced in the later California Resistance phase. The names and release timing are confirmed by EA, but the reviewed sources do not prove which map appeared in the leak referenced by the headline.
EA describes Blackwell Fields as an “ominous large-scale All-Out-Warfare map set in Southern California,” with military facilities and scattered homesteads. In Conquest, the action covers the full Badlands. Those are details about the released map from EA’s Season 1 mission brief.
What does Blackwell Fields’ layout look like?
PC Gamer’s guide, updated October 28, 2025, reports six Conquest flags with a decent distance between them. It describes open spacing and support for a broad range of vehicles, but also cautions that the map is “not a huge map overall.” That makes “sprawling” and “wide-open” useful impressions of its layout, not measured claims about its area.

The same guide lists four transport vehicles, four tanks—including one anti-air vehicle—one attack helicopter and two jets. This is an outlet’s reported roster, not an official map measurement. No sourced square-area figure or basis for calling Blackwell Fields Battlefield 6’s largest multiplayer map is available.
How does Eastwood differ?
Eastwood is the other named Season 1 map in EA’s schedule. The official briefing sets it around a Southern California villa, pools and private golf courses, rather than Blackwell Fields’ Badlands and military facilities. The available descriptions do not establish an exact area or objective spacing for Eastwood, so they do not support a precise size ranking between the two.

The available evidence does not authenticate the original leak, identify a leaker, establish when the image first appeared, or show that a specific image matched the final Blackwell Fields layout. A Reddit thread titled “BF6 Eastwood map layout” contains community speculation, but does not verify a leak or establish that its image is the one described in the headline. The thread is not proof of provenance: BF6 Eastwood map layout.
