Choose Warrior for direct weapon combat, Mage for spellcasting at any range, or Rogue for speed, precision, bows, and dual swords. EA describes all three as well-balanced, so there is no established universally strongest class; the right pick depends on the combat style you want.
Which class fits your playstyle?

These descriptions come from EA’s official class guide. Think about the range and feel you enjoy: Warrior for straightforward martial combat, Mage for magic that need not be ranged-only, or Rogue for mobile, accurate attacks.
What to know before committing
Class determines your broad combat identity, but it does not lock you into one ability setup. In its October 31, 2024 launch guide, EA says players can swap abilities outside combat and respec individual nodes or the full skill tree. The guide also notes that enemies have distinct weaknesses and resistances, giving you reason to adjust abilities and builds as you encounter them.
EA’s example specializations include Mage Spellblade, Rogue Duelist, and Warrior Champion. They illustrate different ways to develop each class, not a ranking of which one performs best. The available official guidance supports revising abilities and skills, but does not establish that you can change your chosen class.
