Gears of War 4, Gears 5, and Gears Tactics are listed for both PC and Xbox consoles. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is also available on both, but its Xbox console and Windows 10 versions have separate store listings. The original Xbox 360 games have a history of Xbox One backward-compatibility support, though that 2015 announcement does not confirm their current availability.

What Xbox Play Anywhere means
Xbox marks Gears of War 4, Gears 5, and Gears Tactics as Xbox Play Anywhere titles. For Gears of War 4, the store says the game can be played on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost under that entitlement. This does not apply automatically to every Gears game: Ultimate Edition has distinct Windows and console listings, so check the listing for the version you intend to buy.
Older Xbox 360 games and backward compatibility
Xbox announced in 2015 that the original Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War: Judgment would be playable on Xbox One through backward compatibility. That announcement is historical evidence, not a live compatibility catalog. It does not establish current digital sales, disc requirements, regional availability, or support on Xbox Series X|S. Check the current Xbox catalog for the specific game and console before relying on access. The sources cited here do not establish PC versions for these four older titles.

Cloud gaming is a separate access route
Xbox Store listings include Cloud Gaming for Gears of War 4, Gears 5, and Gears Tactics. Cloud play streams a game; it is not the same as installing a native PC version. Whether you can stream a title depends on the current service, region, subscription, and game-access terms. Check the local Xbox Store and service details for current eligibility.

The available official listings cited above do not establish Gears of War: Reloaded’s PC or Xbox status. Consult its current official store listing rather than inferring availability from another edition or Gears title.
