Other playable games in the collection can still have trophies without their own platinum. The reported PS5 structure does not give separate platinums to Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, or Birth by Sleep Final Mix. In particular, owning a collection that includes Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix does not by itself mean that its PS5 version has a standalone platinum.
Check which PS5 application you are playing
There are two distinct situations: the PS4 edition running on a PS5, and the native PS5 edition. The official US PlayStation listing identifies Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX as a PS4 game playable on PS5, while cautioning that some PS4 features may be absent. A separate native PS5 product listing appears on the Canadian PlayStation Store, with a release date of June 10, 2026. Catalog details and availability can vary by region.

What is included in HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX?
The collection brings together Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and Birth by Sleep Final Mix, as well as HD cinematics for 358/2 Days and Re:coded. Those cinematic compilations are not full playable trophy campaigns. Inclusion in the bundle should not be confused with having a separate platinum trophy.

How to start a platinum attempt without following the wrong checklist
- Identify the installed application. Check the game’s product or application details to establish whether it is the PS4 edition running through backward compatibility or the native PS5 release.
- Open the trophy list for that application. Check which game lists and platinum awards are actually shown, rather than relying on a list for a different edition.
- Match your walkthrough to the same version and game. A PS4 checklist is not verified for the native PS5 application, and a collection-level list does not establish the objectives for every included title.
- Verify route-specific details in a current game guide. The available evidence does not establish missable trophies, difficulty requirements, whether difficulties can be combined, completion-time estimates, or a step-by-step order. Do not plan around those claims until they are confirmed for the exact trophy list you are playing.
What this means for Kingdom Hearts II on PS5
If you mean the native PS5 collection structure, the reported list does not provide a separate Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix platinum, although the game may still have trophies. If you mean the PS4 edition running on PS5, its trophy organization should be checked in the installed PS4 application; PS5 backward compatibility alone does not prove it matches the native release.
