Keep only what still serves a live quest, recipe, workshop upgrade, project, or your current loadout. Check the item card and active tracker before selling; once a requirement is complete, clear the surplus. For recyclable items, compare the in-game recycling preview with the vendor value and the materials you actually need.
Check your current item card and tracker first
ARC Raiders requirements and item uses can change with patches, projects, and events. The current item card and active in-game tracker are more reliable than any static list: inspect the item’s category, its “Used in” or recycling information, and the objectives you have open. Keep the quantity shown for a live requirement until that need is complete.
The examples below come from third-party guides, not a guaranteed complete or permanent list. iTechGuides’ October 2026 guidance emphasizes checking current item cards and goals; other cited lists were updated earlier. If your tracker shows a different name or count, follow the game.

Once reliable supplies cover the food effect you need, extra cans or pasta are usually less valuable than space for the run’s objective or a better find.
Sell, recycle, or keep: a practical decision path
- Inspect the item. Open its card and check its category, “Used in” details, and recycling information. Review active quest, project, recipe, and workshop requirements.
- Reserve progression quantities. Keep only what the live tracker or a near-term recipe requires; reassess when the objective is complete.
- Account for immediate utility. Retain food or a tactical item only when its effect is worth the slot in your current loadout.
- Sell surplus trinkets with no current use. Guides describe trinkets as primarily sale-focused, but confirm the item card rather than assuming every trinket behaves alike.
- Compare recycling with selling. For a recyclable item, inspect the live component preview and compare the materials with the coins you would receive. Choose the return that advances your current goals.
- Recycle in Speranza when the cited mechanic applies. ARC Raiders Hub’s community loot guide reports that in-raid recycling returns 50% of the usual components, while recycling in Speranza returns 100%. This is a guide-reported, potentially changeable mechanic; verify the current interface before relying on it.
- Make the extraction choice by objective and slot value. A high-value single-slot item may beat a partial stack of low-value loot, unless that stack completes a tracked requirement. Do not let optional loot compromise the run’s main objective or safe extraction.
Make the stash rule simple
Use a short keep list: active requirement, planned recipe or upgrade, or a specific utility you will use. Sell surplus trinkets after their requirement is done; for recyclable loot, let the current preview and your material demand decide. If none of those reasons applies, the item is taking space without advancing your plan.

A 2025 PC Gamer article reported a maximum stash size of 280. Treat that as a dated figure, not a guaranteed current limit; check the live game if stash capacity affects your decision.
