If Aniimo shows “input a correct face ID” or simply says a face code is not working, start with the current game client’s own appearance editor. What an Aniimo face code is—and what the error tells you
An Aniimo face code is a player-shared character-appearance design. It is not a product key, account-transfer token, or guarantee that the same design will load in every client build. AniimoShare describes these codes as player-shared appearance designs and says users should copy a code and use the matching import feature in their own version of Aniimo. It is an unofficial fan platform; its submissions are not official game content. A code shown there therefore should be treated as community material that may need to be regenerated in the current game.

Fix the code in the safest order
Use this sequence before changing accounts, characters, or servers. Each step is reversible and avoids actions for which there is no evidence of benefit.
- Open the appearance editor in the current client. Enter character creation or the game’s character-appearance/design interface. Look for the face-data or face-design import command that matches the code type. Menu labels can vary by client version.
- Use the matching import control. Do not paste a text code into a field intended for a QR image, or try to scan an image where the client expects text. The importer must be the one associated with face data, not a general account or character-share tool.
- Copy the code exactly as displayed. Copy directly from the creator’s message or the game’s share screen. Do not retype it, add quotation marks, insert spaces, remove punctuation, or include explanatory text around it. If the game presents a one-line value, paste only that value.
- Try a fresh export from the current game. Ask the creator to open the current client, load the appearance, and generate a new face code. This is particularly important when your only copy is a QR image from an older beta or a screenshot.
- Have the creator send the new value without editing it. Request the original code copied from the game’s share dialog. If a screenshot is necessary, ask for the complete image at its original resolution and also request the underlying text when the game provides one.
- Compare server regions as a diagnostic. Ask which server region the creator used and compare it with yours. Players have reported mixed results and proposed that creator and recipient may need the same region, but this is community speculation rather than a confirmed compatibility rule. Do not change servers solely on that basis.
- Record the failure and contact official support. If a newly generated code still fails in the current client, save the exact error text, your client version, platform, server region, whether the code came from a current export or beta image, and the steps that reproduced it. Use the game’s current official support route. No face-code-specific official procedure or named fix has been verified here.
Why an older beta QR image may be rejected
One player reported that a QR image produced during a beta prompted “input a correct face ID” when it was used in the later game. The practical conclusion is limited: an old beta image is weaker evidence of compatibility than a code exported by the current client. One player described the sharing route as Appearance → Design → Face Design → top-right Share → code at the bottom left. That is a player report, not an authoritative universal path. Your client may place the command elsewhere or use different labels.

Use the reported path as a search hint rather than a rigid instruction:
- Start in the character appearance or design screen.
- Choose the face-specific design section rather than a full-character preset if both exist.
- Look for Share, Export, Import, or Face Data controls, including buttons in a corner of the screen.
- Confirm that the selected command is for face data and that its input type matches what you received.

Could the code be tied to a server region?

- Ask the creator for the region selected when the appearance was made or shared.
- Check your own selected region in the client without changing it.
- Test a fresh code from a creator in the same region, if one is available.
- Compare the result with a code from a different region only as an observation, not as proof of a rule.
A failed test does not prove that regions are incompatible, and a successful test does not prove that they are required to match. Avoid deleting a character, unlinking an account, or changing servers on the strength of this anecdotal theory.
Does an Aniimo face code work on console?
No reliable platform-compatibility list was established in the available material. The existence of a face-code importer in one client does not prove that the same code format, menu, or sharing service is supported on every console, PC build, or regional client.
For a console test, verify three things in order:
- The console client actually exposes a face-design import function.

No expiry period is confirmed. The available evidence does not state that face codes automatically expire after a number of days, after one use, or when a beta ends. A code that stops working may instead reflect a client-version difference, a changed sharing format, an incomplete copy, a server-side problem, or another compatibility issue that has not been documented.

Because an expiry rule is unverified, do not tell a creator that a code is definitely permanent or definitely timed. The useful test is to generate a new code in the current client and compare its result with the older value.

Checks that prevent a false failure
Confirm the input boundary
Many apparent code failures occur before the game can evaluate the design: an extra line break, a missing character, or a code pasted together with the sender’s caption. Compare the pasted value with the creator’s original display character by character if the client provides no other diagnostic.
Separate QR and text workflows
A QR image and a text representation may not be interchangeable in your client. Use the scanner for an image only when the interface explicitly offers scanning, and use the text field only for the text format it labels as face data or face ID.
Check the export’s age
Record whether the code came from a current release, an earlier beta, or a screenshot of unknown date. The beta report shows why that distinction matters, but it does not establish a universal cutoff.

Repeat once after reopening the relevant screen
Close and reopen the appearance editor, then retry the same controlled import. This can distinguish a one-off interface state from a consistently rejected value without risking your character or account. It is a basic diagnostic, not a confirmed Aniimo-specific repair.
What not to do
- Do not delete the character. No evidence shows that deletion repairs a rejected appearance import.
- Do not unlink accounts. The available reports do not connect account linking to face-code validation.
- Do not change servers as a first-line fix. Region mismatch is only a community hypothesis, and changing regions can create separate account or progression consequences.
- Do not assume a fan-site submission is official content. AniimoShare identifies itself as unofficial, so its code listings should be treated as player-shared material.
- Do not buy hardware or software to repair the import. This is a digital feature problem; no physical product or purchase is supported as a fix.

A precise report gives support something reproducible instead of only saying that the code is broken. Include:

- Whether the value was text, a QR image, or a screenshot.
- Whether it was generated in the current client or an older beta.
- The menu path you used and the point at which the import failed.
- Whether a newly generated code from the creator produced the same result.
