Start at EA Help, choose the game or account issue that matches your problem, then check the contact methods in its Contact Us flow.
Why EA live chat may not appear
EA’s guidance says the available contact options can vary by topic. So if you do not see a chat button, that alone does not mean EA has shut down live chat; it may mean chat is not being offered for the issue category you chose. EA’s forum guidance puts it plainly: “depending on the topic selected, you might be given different options.” EA Forums: “live chat”
The available sources do not establish a complete list of which topics, countries, languages, or times offer chat. EA Help is the official place to check the current options for your case.
How to look for EA live chat
- Go to EA Help.
- Select the game or subject that best matches your issue, such as EA Account support, security, orders, technical issues, or platform support.
- Open the relevant help article or Contact Us flow, then review the contact methods EA presents for that topic.
- If your issue is about updating an EA Account, an EA community manager has described choosing “Update EA Account” in the form as a route that can show chat. This is an example for that account issue, not a guarantee that chat will appear for every account problem. EA Forums: account-update guidance
Choose the category that fits your actual problem
It can be tempting to choose a different topic just to make a chat option appear. Instead, select the category that accurately describes the problem: EA says contact methods depend on the topic, and the community-manager instructions about “Update EA Account” apply to an account-update issue. If your problem is different, use its matching category and follow the options EA provides.

For current contact options, use EA Help rather than relying on third-party phone numbers or unofficial workarounds. The support portal organizes help by game and issue, and its Contact Us flow is where EA presents the available methods for your selection.
