The Champion Teal Knight is the FNCS Teal Knight outfit awarded to eligible, ranked players who finish inside the prize-paying placement band for their region and cup. If it is missing, the usual explanations are that the account did not qualify, a different Epic account is signed in, the player is in a prize-restricted region, the outfit is archived or hidden by Locker filters, or Fortnite is showing a temporary Locker display problem. Epic’s published rules do not guarantee a specific number of hours or days for delivery after a tournament. Work through the account and Locker checks below; if the reward still cannot be found, contact Epic Player Support with your placement evidence.
What the Champion Teal Knight actually is
“Champion Teal Knight” is the name many players use for the reward officially listed by Epic Games as the FNCS Teal Knight In-Game Outfit. It is not a default item granted to every FNCS entrant. The outfit is one of the placement prizes for the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup, alongside the FNCS Ice Breaker pickaxe, FNCS Shield back bling and Knightly FNCS wrap.

Epic’s official rules, published October 13, 2026, say that prizes are awarded according to a player’s position on the leaderboard when the applicable session ends. In other words, playing in the cup, reaching a high score, or seeing the outfit advertised does not by itself create an entitlement. You must be an eligible, ranked player, finish within the threshold for your region and cup mode, and be outside a prize-restricted region.
The event page lists the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup for October 18–19, 2026. It also requires players to meet the applicable minimum age and have multi-factor authentication enabled. Those requirements apply in addition to the final leaderboard position.

First determine whether the reward was earned
Before troubleshooting the Locker, establish whether your result satisfies the rules. A missing cosmetic and an unearned cosmetic look identical in the Locker, but the remedy is different. The following checks separate eligibility problems from visibility or service problems.
Check your final leaderboard position
Find the final leaderboard for the exact cup session, region, platform or mode in which you competed. The relevant comparison is your final position against that session’s published prize band, not a live position during the match and not a result from a different cup.
Epic’s rules use different thresholds by region, cup mode and platform. The published examples include outfit awards for the top 1–200 in some Battle Royale regions and the top 1–30 in several Mobile regions. Those figures are examples of prize thresholds, not a universal rule and not a promise that every participant receives the outfit. A player ranked just outside the applicable band does not qualify even if the difference is one place.

Confirm that you were ranked and eligible
The rules distinguish eligible, ranked players from participants who do not satisfy the event requirements. Confirm that your account met the minimum applicable age and had MFA enabled for the event. If the account was not ranked, was disqualified, or otherwise failed an eligibility condition, a high-looking match result does not convert into a prize claim.
Russia and Turkey are identified in the rules as prize-restricted regions. Players located in those regions cannot receive the listed prize even when their leaderboard position appears to fall inside a displayed threshold. Do not try to change your region after the event to bypass this restriction; support will evaluate the account and event records that actually applied to your participation.

Four reasons the outfit can be missing

Eligibility is the prerequisite. The other three causes explain why a reward that should be on the account may not be visible at the moment you look.
Fix the missing FNCS Teal Knight step by step
1. Sign in to the account that played the cup
Exit Fortnite and sign back in to the Epic account used for the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup. Do not rely only on the console, PC or mobile profile name: a device can be connected to a different Epic account than the one used in the tournament.

Use the Epic account identifier, display name and connected platform details to make the comparison. If family members or multiple accounts share a device, verify each account separately rather than assuming the first profile shown is the competing account.
Once you identify the correct account, open Fortnite on that account and repeat the Locker search. A reward cannot appear on a different Epic account merely because both accounts use the same console or computer.
2. Open the Outfits category and search for the official name
- From the Fortnite lobby, open Locker.
- Select Outfits, rather than Back Bling, Pickaxes or Wraps.
- Search for FNCS Teal Knight. “Champion Teal Knight” is the common player description; the official in-game listing uses FNCS Teal Knight.
Searching the official name avoids overlooking the item because of a nickname or because you are looking in the category for one of the associated prizes. The Ice Breaker pickaxe, Shield back bling and Knightly FNCS wrap are separate cosmetics and will not appear in the Outfits list.

3. Clear every Locker filter
- In the Outfits screen, open Sort and Filter.
- Turn off every active filter, including rarity, season, set, platform or other custom filters.
- Apply the changes and return to the complete Outfits list.
- Check the Favorites heart and make sure Favorites-only mode is disabled.
Epic says that clearing filters reveals all items. A filter can remain active from an earlier search and make the Locker look as if the account has fewer cosmetics than it actually does. Favorites-only mode is especially easy to miss because it can be represented by a heart control rather than a large text warning.

4. Inspect Archived items
- Open the Locker’s filtering controls again.
- Choose the Archived item view.
- Search for FNCS Teal Knight in that view.
- If it is listed, select it and choose the option to Unarchive it.
An archived outfit is still owned by the account, but it is hidden from the ordinary Locker inventory. After unarchiving, return to the normal Outfits view and search again with all filters cleared.
5. Allow for a display or naming problem
Epic currently acknowledges that some Locker item names and descriptions may not display correctly and says it is working on a fix. That issue can make a reward difficult to identify or can cause a cosmetic’s text to look wrong even when the account data is intact. It does not prove that you earned the outfit, so confirm placement and eligibility separately.
Check Epic Public Status, the official @FortniteStatus account and Fortnite’s known-issues channels for an active Locker incident. If Epic reports a service-side problem, keep your leaderboard evidence and retry after the issue is marked resolved. Avoid deleting or changing account connections while investigating; those actions can make account verification harder.
6. Contact Epic Player Support when the checks fail
If you qualified and the outfit is absent from the correct account, from the unfiltered Outfits list and from Archived items, open an Epic Player Support ticket. Epic’s missing-item guidance directs players to support when an item cannot be found.

Include enough information for support to match your claim to the event record:
- Your Epic account ID and current display name.
- The region in which you competed.
- The exact cup name and mode.
- The approximate session date and time, including the October 18–19, 2026 event window where applicable.
- Your final placement and the applicable prize band.
- Screenshots or saved leaderboard evidence showing the result.
- Screenshots showing the cleared Outfits list and the Archived view.
- The platform used for the session and any relevant account-email confirmation.
Describe the problem as a missing FNCS Teal Knight reward, not simply a request for a free cosmetic. A concise timeline—event played, final rank confirmed, account verified, filters cleared, archive checked—helps support distinguish an eligibility question from an inventory-display issue.
How long should delivery take?
Epic’s rules explain who receives the prizes and state that awards are based on leaderboard placement at the conclusion of the applicable session. The reviewed rules and event pages do not publish a guaranteed number of hours or days for the FNCS Teal Knight to appear in the Locker.
Because no official delivery deadline is stated, do not treat a particular number of hours as proof that Epic denied the reward. Perform the account and Locker checks first, monitor Epic’s status channels for a service issue, and contact Player Support when a qualifying reward remains absent. Support can inspect the account and event records; a player cannot establish entitlement solely from the passage of time.
What to verify before you open a ticket
- Event identity: You are checking the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup, not another FNCS session with a similar name.
- Session: Your evidence comes from the completed session in which you played, rather than a live or provisional leaderboard.
- Region and mode: The threshold you use belongs to your region, cup mode and platform category.
- Placement: Your final position is inside the published prize band.
- Account: The Epic account ID in the ticket is the account that competed.
- Eligibility: The account met the minimum applicable age, had MFA enabled and was not in a prize-restricted region.
- Locker state: Outfits are selected, all filters are cleared, Favorites-only mode is off and Archived items have been checked.
- Service status: You have noted any active Locker naming or display incident reported by Epic.
This checklist prevents the most common support dead ends: submitting a result from the wrong account, using a threshold from another region, or overlooking an archived item.

How to avoid the same confusion in future FNCS cups
Record the account before competing
Write down the Epic display name and account ID used to enter the cup, especially if several platform profiles are linked to one household device. Keep the event confirmation or account email associated with that profile. This gives you an unambiguous account reference if a reward later appears under a different display name.
Capture the final result after the session
Save a screenshot of the completed leaderboard showing the event, region, mode and final placement. A live leaderboard can change before the session closes, while the rules use the position at the conclusion of the applicable session.
Keep MFA enabled and review event requirements
Check the event page before playing for the applicable minimum age, MFA requirement and regional restrictions. Requirements can differ between cups, so eligibility for one tournament should not be assumed for another.

Use the official cosmetic name when searching
Player nicknames can differ from the name stored in Fortnite. For this reward, search for FNCS Teal Knight in Outfits, then check the other listed FNCS prizes in their respective Locker categories. This avoids mistaking a missing outfit for a missing pickaxe, back bling or wrap.
Bottom line for a missing Champion Teal Knight
First prove that your final rank was inside the correct regional and mode-specific prize band and that your account met the event requirements. Then verify the competing Epic account, clear every Locker filter, disable Favorites-only mode and inspect Archived items. If the outfit is still absent, check Epic’s service-status updates and submit a Player Support ticket containing your account ID, event details, placement and screenshots. Epic has not announced a guaranteed post-event delivery window, so support is the official escalation path for a qualifying player whose reward cannot be found.
