This is not a routine app or connection problem: reinstalling the app or switching devices cannot restore a retired game service.
Why FIFA 22 rewards and packs are no longer available
The FUT 22 Companion and Web Apps relied on FIFA 22’s online services. EA’s service update set November 4, 2024 as the retirement date for FIFA 22 online services and features. Since then, those apps have not provided access to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team features such as claiming rewards or opening packs.

The Companion App was created as an interface for FUT 22, not as a permanent archive of a player’s club or rewards. EA announced its Web launch for September 22, 2021, followed by its mobile launch on September 23, 2021. EA also said players would need to log into the full game after October 17, 2021 to continue using the Companion App. Those were launch-era access rules; they do not override the later service retirement.

EA’s published information establishes that FIFA 22 online services ended, but it does not specify what happened to every individual unclaimed reward or pack. The available guidance does not promise that EA will restore, transfer, refund, or compensate players for unclaimed FUT 22 content. An account-specific outcome would need confirmation from EA.

Because the service itself has been retired, common app fixes—reinstalling, changing phones, or troubleshooting the network—cannot bring FIFA 22 reward claiming back online.
Does the current EA Web or Companion App support FIFA 22?
No. EA’s current app guidance is for newer EA SPORTS FC titles, not FIFA 22. EA Help listed the Web and Companion Apps as available only for EA SPORTS FC 26 beginning September 17, 2025; its current-year guidance in October 2026 identifies the FC 27 app cycle. If you mean a current EA SPORTS FC reward
EA’s missing-rewards guidance applies to eligible EA SPORTS FC content, not to FIFA 22. For a current FC reward, confirm that you are using the right game, account, and platform, then follow EA’s missing-rewards troubleshooting steps. EA says eligible FC content may take up to 24 hours to appear. That waiting period is not a recovery window for FIFA 22 rewards.
