You can’t play the Battlefield 6 beta now because it was a limited-time event, not an ongoing demo. EA’s second open-beta weekend ended at 08:00 UTC on August 18, 2025. The beta is over; redeeming a code, reinstalling it, or relinking accounts cannot reopen it.
When did the Battlefield 6 beta end?
EA scheduled the open beta for two weekends: August 9–11 and August 14–18, 2025. The second weekend closed at 08:00 UTC on August 18. Those dates have passed, so the beta client no longer provides access.
EA’s Open Beta announcement also described early access beginning August 7. That period was for qualifying Battlefield Labs registrants and eligible creator-stream access. The public weekends did not require a code.
Will a beta code or account fix restore access?
No. EA’s code help explains how to redeem a code through an EA Account and link a platform account. Those steps could resolve a code or account issue during an active event, but they do not extend a closed beta schedule.

There is no reason to buy a beta key, change your region, or reinstall the beta to try to get back into the 2025 test. If you are having trouble launching the full game instead, use the relevant topic in EA’s Battlefield 6 support hub; that is a separate issue from beta access.
Were there other ways to try Battlefield 6?
EA announced a separate free trial running from June 30 through July 6, 2026, in its June 26, 2026 update. That offer has also ended, so it does not provide access now.

What can you play instead?
- The full Battlefield 6 game: Check the current store listing for your platform for availability and price. EA’s beta announcement listed PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA app as beta platforms; check the current listing for the full game before purchasing.
- Battlefield REDSEC: EA’s support hub identifies REDSEC as free-to-play. Check that hub and your platform’s listing for current availability and details, and make sure it offers the experience you want rather than assuming it is the same as the main game.
The beta itself ran on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, or the EA app. EA also specified Secure Boot as a PC beta requirement. These were requirements for the beta while it was active; changing PC security settings now will not restore access.
