There is no verified public release or named announcement for Temple Run 3 in the official Imangi materials reviewed as of October 8, 2026. Imangi says it is developing new Temple Run games, but its current games page does not identify a third mainline entry or give a release date. A 2026 Terms of Service reference to “Temple Run 3” is not a launch announcement.
Is Temple Run 3 out yet?
No official material reviewed confirms that Temple Run 3 is available to download. Imangi’s current games page lists Temple Run, Temple Run 2, Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure, and Temple Run: Legends, but not Temple Run 3.

Imangi player support stated, “A ‘Temple Run 3’ game is not available at this time,” in an answer updated March 9, 2022. That is a dated status answer, not evidence that the game has been permanently canceled. The same support page directs fans to Imangi and Temple Run’s official social channels for news about new projects: Imangi support: Temple Run 3 and future games.
Has Imangi announced a release date?
No release date appears in the official materials reviewed. Imangi’s current website says the studio is developing new Temple Run games, including both runner and non-runner mobile games, but does not name Temple Run 3 or provide a schedule. That leaves open the possibility of future games without confirming this particular sequel.

Imangi’s Terms of Service, marked “Last Revised: May 28, 2026,” includes “Temple Run 3” in its defined term “Games.” The terms do not say whether a distinct Temple Run 3 game is publicly released, identify a platform, or give a date, so the mention should not be treated as confirmation: Imangi Studios Terms of Service.

A page or download titled “Temple Run 3” is not proof that it is an official release. Before installing anything, check that the developer is Imangi Studios and that the app appears in a legitimate store listing. Avoid unofficial APK downloads presented as the sequel.

Imangi says Temple Run and Temple Run 2 have been downloaded “over 2.5 billion times” combined; that figure is not a Temple Run 3 statistic.
