Wordeex is a free word puzzle for iOS and Android that asks you to clear an entire 16-letter board, not merely spot a valid word. Each puzzle hides three to five words, and every accepted word disappears, changing the letters and possibilities that remain. Because each board has one correct combination, a move that looks good now can make the endgame impossible. Daily, Chapters, Academy and Community modes offer shared, campaign, competitive and user-created play. Daily, Chapters and Community can load without a network connection; Academy requires internet access. The app is reported as available in 27 languages.
How does Wordeex work?
Wordeex combines vocabulary recall with sequence planning. You select words from the letters on a 16-letter board, and the selected letters are removed. The board therefore changes after every answer, so the objective is not to find any acceptable word: it is to find the word that preserves a solvable path to the final letters.

That single-solution rule turns word recognition into deduction: you must consider what your choice leaves behind before committing to it.
A worked example
One reported board contains the letters “T A M E P N O R L U T A S I N E.” Its solution is MOUSE, TRAIN and PLANET. The important point is the order and interaction of those words: removing one changes the pool from which the next must be formed. A familiar word can still be the wrong move if it strands letters needed elsewhere.

Is Wordeex a word game or a logic puzzle?
It is both, but logic determines whether your vocabulary is useful. In a conventional word-finding game, identifying one valid word may be enough to score. Wordeex asks a second question: will that word make the next required word findable?
This creates a forward-planning loop. Vocabulary supplies candidate words; deduction eliminates candidates that leave an impossible remainder. The result is closer to solving a constrained sequence than to simply searching a static word grid.

Can I play Wordeex offline?

How many languages does Wordeex support?
Ganko’s 2026 product information reports support for 27 languages. The material available here does not enumerate the language list, so language availability for a specific locale should be confirmed in the current iOS or Android listing.
How should I approach a difficult Wordeex board?
Start by treating each move as a commitment rather than a score opportunity.
- Inventory the letters. Look for obvious words, but do not play the first one you see.
- Mark competing uses. If a letter could belong to several likely words, keep that dependency in mind.
- Test the remainder mentally. After removing a candidate word, ask whether the leftover letters can still form complete words.
- Prioritize constrained words. A word that uses unusual or highly specific letters may be more informative than a common short word.
- Backtrack when necessary. If the remaining letters cannot be partitioned into plausible words, undo the assumption and try another sequence.
Because the solution is unique, an apparent dead end is useful information: it shows that at least one earlier choice was incompatible with the board’s intended combination.
