A World of Warcraft player says gear vanished from two of her characters, with some items sold to vendors and others destroyed. She suspects her husband, but her Reddit account does not establish who accessed the account or changed the items.
What the player says happened
In an October 11, 2026 post in r/GirlDinnerDiaries titled “I think my husband is sabatoging my WoW character,” the author said she had played World of Warcraft for ten years and usually played with her husband. More recently, she had started running Mythic+ alone or with guildmates.

She described a crafted staff disappearing and showing as destroyed in item restoration, followed by missing Great Vault rewards. Later, she said gear disappeared from two of her main characters: some items had been vendored and others destroyed. These are the author’s claims in a first-person post, not independently verified game records.

Why she suspected her husband—and what is not proven
The author said she and her husband knew each other’s computer passwords and that her Battle.net account had remained logged in on her computer. She wrote, “I think it was him because we know each other’s computer password.” That explains her suspicion, but it does not identify who accessed the account or made the changes.

She also reported that Blizzard support told her there was no suspicious activity. The post does not include a support ticket, login records, a Blizzard statement, or other independent confirmation of that exchange. The incident therefore remains an allegation, not a verified finding about her husband.
What she says she did afterward
The author said she recovered gear through item restoration, writing, “I got my gear back through item restoration and all seemed fine for a few days.” She later reported changing her email and Battle.net passwords, enabling the authenticator, changing her computer password, and no longer staying logged in to Battle.net on that computer. These are steps she says she took; the post does not verify their effects or establish them as a complete security plan.

How to read the Reddit discussion
Commenters largely interpreted the events as deliberate sabotage and some raised relationship-safety concerns. Those reactions reflect readers’ interpretations of the account, not independent evidence about who changed the items or the wider relationship. The post also contains no attributable statistics about WoW account sabotage, digital abuse, or recovery outcomes.
