Wuthering Waves Version 1.1, “Thaw of Eons,” launched on June 28, 2024. Kuro Games set the end of Version 1.0 at 05:59 on June 28 in UTC+8, and the update followed after maintenance. The countdown is over: the update has been live since 2024, so any timer you find for it is historical and no longer counts down to anything.
The official release date and time
Kuro Games’ official timeline announcement, published June 2, 2024, said Version 1.0 would run until June 28 at 05:59 (UTC+8), after which the game would go into maintenance ahead of Version 1.1 (Kuro Games, “Announcement on ‘Wuthering Waves’ 1.0 Version and Future Adjustment Directions”). The official Version 1.1 patch notes then confirmed the update was available and used June 28, 2024 as a reference date in a compensation eligibility cutoff (Kuro Games, “Version 1.1: Thaw of Eons Patch Notes”).
Converting 05:59 UTC+8 into your local time
UTC+8 is the time zone Kuro Games used for the cutoff. Because it sits eight hours ahead of UTC, the same moment falls on the previous calendar day in most of the Americas. Use the table below to check it against your own clock.
| Zone | Equivalent of June 28, 2024, 05:59 UTC+8 |
|---|---|
| UTC+8 (official reference) | June 28, 2024, 05:59 |
| UTC | June 27, 2024, 21:59 |
| US Eastern (EDT, UTC-4) | June 27, 2024, 17:59 |
| US Pacific (PDT, UTC-7) | June 27, 2024, 14:59 |
| UK (BST, UTC+1) | June 27, 2024, 22:59 |
These are arithmetic conversions from the official UTC+8 figure, not times published by Kuro Games for each region.

Maintenance window: what is confirmed and what is not
Kuro Games’ news index lists a “Wuthering Waves Version 1.1 Update Maintenance Notice” dated June 25, 2024 (Kuro Games news index). The notice page itself did not display readable text when checked, so its exact start and end times cannot be confirmed from the official source.
A patch-note mirror on WutheringWaves.gg reports the scheduled maintenance as 06:00 to 13:00 (UTC+8) on June 28, 2024 (WutheringWaves.gg, Version 1.1 patch notes). Treat that as a planned window reported by a third-party site, not a record of when maintenance actually finished. Maintenance estimates can shift, and the game’s own notices are the reference for any timing claim.
