Why this is not a ranking of every WWE 2K game
Platform scores cannot be mixed casually
Scores can vary between platforms. Metacritic lists WWE 2K24 at 83 on PlayStation 5 from 25 reviews and 78 on Xbox Series X from six reviews, alongside its all-platform score of 81 from 63 reviews. A platform-specific score answers how critics reviewed that version; it should not be substituted for an all-platform score without labeling the change.
Recent entries have platform listings, not a matched series-wide basis
The Metacritic 2K Games catalog lists WWE 2K25 at 80 on PlayStation 5, 84 on Xbox Series X, and 78 on Nintendo Switch 2. For WWE 2K26, it lists 80 on PC, 81 on Nintendo Switch 2, 79 on Xbox Series X, and 78 on PlayStation 5. These are platform-labeled catalog scores, accessed in 2026; they are not presented here as comparable all-platform scores for the full series.

Spin-offs and mobile releases need a scope decision
WWE 2K Battlegrounds is an arcade-style spin-off, rather than an annual mainline simulation. Metacritic also lists a separate WWE 2K iOS game, dated April 16, 2015, with a Metascore of 73 from four critic reviews. That mobile title is not an annual console or PC release. Including either one changes what “every WWE 2K game” means.
