Does WWE 2K25 have Promos?
Yes. Promos returned in Universe mode. 2K called it “the long-awaited return of Promos” and described multiple promo types and outcomes, new cutscenes, and branching choices. The official announcement does not specify the exact last installment to include Promos or how many years the feature was absent, so a precise absence timeline is not established.
What is included in the Switch 2 version?
2K said the Switch 2 release supports the full set of WWE 2K25 game modes and match types. It also supports offline modes on the go and online modes with an internet connection. At launch, 2K highlighted a roster of over 300 playable characters, intergender wrestling, the return of Chain Wrestling, Bloodline Rules and Underground matches, and online MyGM multiplayer for up to four players. These are claims in 2K’s July 23, 2025 launch announcement.

No. WWE 2K’s official support overview says The Island is available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, not Nintendo Switch 2.
What do you need for online features?
Nintendo’s listing for the digital Farewell Tour Edition specifies that online features require an internet connection, a Nintendo Account, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership. See Nintendo’s edition listing for those requirements. This edition is listed as digital.

How does WWE 2K25 compare with WWE 2K26 on Switch 2?
WWE 2K26 is the subsequent installment. 2K’s announcement says its Switch 2 version supports Image Uploader and cross-platform Community Creations. Those features belong to the 2K26 announcement and should not be assumed to be part of WWE 2K25.
