How did players access the event at the time?
These were the instructions for the original event, not a way to claim it now that the access periods have passed.
- Open the game’s Xbox.com details page and install it, or sign in to the Microsoft Store to view the Game Pass install option.
- On Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, open the Subscriptions tab and select the Free Play Days collection.
- Check the specific game’s eligibility, platform, and event end date before installing; membership and availability varied by title.
Xbox Wire said players who purchased a game could continue playing and keep their Gamerscore and achievements. It also noted that discounts, percentages, and availability could vary by title and region.

Can you still play or buy these games?
The Free Play Days access described here has expired. The event announcement does not establish current prices, discounts, or physical-copy stock. Players who want to continue with Black Ops 7 can check the current edition and platform on the Xbox Store listing or Activision’s Black Ops 7 page.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteFor a physical Xbox edition, verify console compatibility before buying: Activision says physical editions will not operate on Xbox Series S. The Xbox Store listing identifies its digital Cross-Gen Bundle as including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox on PC versions. Those digital-platform details do not mean a physical disc works on every console.
